Horrendous show.
It's so boring
didnt need to be an hour
this looks like a key and peele sketch
and predictable
I only watched the first episode though
that's because the "twilight zone" of our clown world is being a normal person
I liked it. inb4 >reddit
I've never been to reddit in my life.
>I've never been to reddit in my life
wow dude
You shouldn't be a comedian bro.
I like to suck pusy...am I the twilight zone?
this guy is the quintessential "black professor" except someone somewhere told him he was funny so instead of lecturing to grad students he does it to a mass audience
Why was the old pilot wearing eyeliner?
I had this wonderful dream where The Twilight Zone was good again.
>Picture it. It's another normal day, and you take to your favourite board for a few cheeky shitposts. A cunny here, a bane there. Perhaps even a 'horny and lonely' post, should you find the time. You load up and begin typing out your joyous nonsense, ready for some inane banter with your online friends. You picture those bright notifications. Those sweet, sweet (you)'s. However, as you type and send out your posts, something seems wrong. Something seems... different. You realise you've been left behind. No-one cares about those (you)'s anymore, now, it's all about likes. You've been left behind, and pixelated skeletons and raptors dance back and forth, taunting you. A reminder (you) no longer belong.
>I'm Jordan Peele, and this is the Twilight Zone
>next stop, willoughby
I can't take Jordan Peele seriously, I know him from Mad TV, I laugh everytime he shows up
Both episodes were kinda lame to be honest
>I'd like any job, any job at all where I can be myself. Where I wouldn't have to make believe I'm the bright young man on the way up cause I'm not that person
>I'm a not very young, soon to be old, very un-competative, rather dull, quite uninspired, average type guy
>I can't take Jordan Peele seriously
same. I'm sure he's trying to break out of being thought of as being the lesser on Key & Peele
Let's write episodes for the new twilight zone
>jews kill all white people
>can't control niggers and spics who rob, murder and rape them
>faggots convince people to abandon religion because it doesn't tolerate faggotry
>people hate faggots even more because now without religion they can focus on how faggots spread AIDs and rape boys
>woman from a "dystopian" future where feminism was stopped and abortion is illegal travels back in time to help liberals win 1960s culture war
>get's grandfather paradoxed out of reality because her mother aborted her in the new timeline
Why do we need a remake of Twilight Zone when Black Mirror already exists?
You should tweet those to Peele.
What a disappointment, I´ve only watched the first episode, but man this was really mediocre. Easily the biggest problem here is the run-time and that´s it´s super repetitive and predictable.
man it's so boring, not in the sense of the pace but the themes and stories
that sucks, i was really looking forward to it
>Haha I can erase people
>oh no I erase all the people that helped me and my gf along the way how did I not think this through despite knowing this is what happened after erasing the fat guy
Terrible writing.
Twilight Zone does more than "wot if your mum's brain was in a flash drive and you stuck it up your ass"
I really wanted this to be kino🙁
just marathoned both episodes
i like the second one more, except when they btfo the main guy and not the ex pilot. wtf happened to him if no one died?
i think the run time will change with each episode. Episode 2 is only 37 minutes and much more manageable.
First episode was objectively bad. It could have been good if they had actually made it funny, not sure why it wasn't, just lazy writing?
2nd episode was great. Felt like classic twilight zone.
so was the poo getting cucked?
No
Yeah, but Tracy Morgan on a (somehow) serious role. How spooky is that?
this comedian episode is fucking terrible
Here, we have a man who is also a banker. He likes to read. Only in...
The Twilight Zone.
Absolutely terrible. Astoundingly poorly written trash.
What would had happen if Samir said something like "you know guys the other night I found my idol J.C wheeler, to bad his a fucking sociopath. I think he's actually the devil in disguise but that would be to good for him after all why would the devil want to be 80 year old Niger who vapes like a 20 year old. You know what he did to me? I can't be funny to you guys unless I make fun of people I know and then they cease to exist, what a fucking dipshit. Well guess what dumbass I'm not gonna kill myself I'm gonna kill your sorry ass. Oh wait sorry I can't kill you because you never existed on the first place my words not yours you son of a bitch. Thankfully there would be no " momma " to cry for you I know won't.
They didnt say that
It was just Death Note.
what'd you guys think of "The Comedian"?
He should have made fun of CBS.
at least the first half of the animu of death note was good.
orange man bad
>show is created by a comedian
>comedy in the episode about a comedian totally sucks
what’s did he mean by this?
What the hell was the point of the apostrophe bit? I understand the “joke”, but when they called back to it later in the episode it seemed so out of place. Was it just to remind him of his nephew, or did I miss something?
2nd one is even more predictable, dude causes the plane crash because he knows hes the only one who knows its going to crash, elementary level storytelling
At first I didn't think I could buy this hindi fuck as the lead, but after I saw that he was playing a horrible standup I found it very believable.
He was based on a real person.
yick
show bobs and vegene
Give me a quick rundown of the episodes.
no
Why are you expecting something good from this man when his two biggest projects are meh at best?
The Comedian: unfunny comedian learns that he can make his audience laugh by mentioning people he knows into the act (while still remaining unfunny). However, anyone he mentions in his stand up act gets erased from existence. In the end, he decides use this power to erase himself from existence.
Nightmare on 30000 Feet: man learns from mystery podcast that the plane he is in will disappear and tries to find out how it will happen and how he can stop it from happening. No gremlins in the episode; instead, he ends up unwittingly causing the plane crash he was trying to prevent and the other passengers decide to lynch him for his colossal screwup.
>Here we had a strong black woman who dared to go against the popular narative and tell white people "Y'all racist!"
ew gross a nigger.
IM AN ALABAMA NIGGER AN I WANNA BE FREE, HELL TO THE N DOUBLE A CP
I don't understand why he didn't just end the set before saying their names. He still gets the laugh and no one has to be erased, he figures out what's going on after the 2nd time so I don't really feel any sympathy for him when he starts freaking out.
>So I said to a girl "do milk"
All middle eastern comedians are the same. My East-asian friend asked me (black person) "why do they always talk about white people." These stinky fucks are unoriginal and the black people of asians. Looked down upon Blacks and central americans and south americans but also looked down on East asians.
I was dreading this the instant I finished watching "Us." "Get Out" was surprisingly good, but "Us" made me fear that he lacks the chops and the imagination for a show like The Twilight Zone.
I thought Get Out was just meh until I had to watch this other shit and realize how much worse it could get yet still be applauded by critics
Is this kino?
Yeah, that's how I felt about it, pretty much. Hence the "surprising" aspect. I went into it expecting terrible, but got meh. Since I went into "Us" expecting it to be really good since it was even more hyped than "Get Out," I was extremely disappointed. The story was just complete ass.
i see you ghosis
no. these writers don't know self-fulfilling prophecy is cliche as fuck?
imagine now, in a world of feed and sneed, formerly chucks
The 2nd episode was definitely way better than the first. I was kind of annoyed that the guy wouldn't just sit his ass down and listen to the podcast in its entirety, and the fact that he gave up trying to get someone else to listen to it after his first and only attempt failed.
I still don't get the cockpit video thing. The plot would have worked just as well if the plane had a regular PA system. It's like they just made up this weird feature because they really really wanted that one 10 second scene of the passengers getting freaked out watching Russ Hanneman beat up the pilots.
5/10. predictable and bland story that's also a rip-off of death note
>It could have been good if they had actually made it funny
This was my feeling. I was watching it with a friend, and I commented a couple of times that it didn’t feel right that the audience kept laughing when the comedian was saying things that weren’t funny. My friend tried to tell me “no, you don’t get it. The audience laughs as long as he’s GIVING a part of HIMSELF to the act.” And, nah, I get the metaphor there. But what I don’t get is why the writers of the show couldn’t also just write some real jokes to go along with the scene, instead of just having the character say random unfunny shit that isn’t even structured like a joke and everyone just laughs for no reason. Towards the start of the episode there were some real jokes, but then it quickly devolves into the character just making plot relevant statements. It could’ve even worked if they wanted the jokes to stop being funny and get more and more mean spirited and change the tone of the scenes to be more intense, but they didn’t even do that, because even the structure of a joke wasn’t present in a lot of it.
WITH NO SURVIVORS!
I sort of thought he was going to explain the joke about Eddies having no apostrophes, thereby undoing the existence of the comedy club, and erasing his own comedy career so that everyone he’d erased could come back.
They basically did.
Lazy writing, user, lazy writing.
Kek
Virtually everything is cliche when handled with little imagination. It's the absence of artistry that reduces it to the trite and predictable.
that last one is kino
My theory is that at one point they were gonna do a different ending like , but then they decided to go with this ending instead, and neglected to take out that setup.
>”I wanted to be the next Chris Rick, not Light Yagami!”
Would’ve been a fuck of a lot funnier line than “creepy David Copperfield.” I don’t care that normies wouldn’t get it and would have to look it up, it’s not like most of the episode wasn’t already shit anyway.
It’s pretty disappointing that about ten minutes in, it’s fairly easy to predict the rest of the episode, including the end, but you’ve still got forty minutes to go.
