Do phoneposters ever feel like contributing to the board in ways that aren't one-note shitpostings for ADHD-sufferers?
>Do phoneposters
Mobile is the future, grandpa. Noone cares that you browse Yea Forums on a Compaq desktop
Yea Forums would be a lot better if you had to have
>a ten year old computer
or
>built one yourself
to post
it would probably be about 5 guys, but it would be a lot better
In Night of the Living Dead didn't the black guy die last?
Mobile ips should be disallowed from making threads unless they have a pass.
>oeuvre
I'm sure his career with die first instead.
>decades of scary movies where the black guy dies first
Like in NONE of the Friday the 13th movies, or the Halloween series, or Scream, or Nightmare on Elm Street, or Hell Raiser, or Phantasm? I guess if you say it enough it becomes true.
Name 3
>The Thing
all hail emperor peele
Here's a list of horror movies where the black guy doesn't die first or doesn't die at all:
Night of the Demons
The Thing
Event Horizon
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
The Mist
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3
Saw IV
Predator 2
Alien
Aliens
Alien 3
Alien Resurrection
Probably a shit-ton more I haven't thought of. When did this stereotype pop up anyway? Because it seems to happen very rarely.
>decades
Completely wrong, its a false meme
Scream/Scary Movie pushed this. After that though most horror movies were self concious of this and usually never had the black person die first
Idk abou this whole things, Jordan bein the savior on B ppl of this particular medium, but I only see darn good effort that gets ppl go “WTF !!!”.
hm....
>Ax' Em (just because the film was 90% black)
I can't think of any other.
Guys let garbage slide threads slide off. Quit posting too shit like this trash.
Not only that, but he's also the de facto protagonist of the movie.
name 5 movie where the black guy dies first
bix nood
Name one horror movie where the black guy dies first.
>it's another black people play the victim about a stat that isn't even real episode
The black woman died first in Friday the 13th Part 3... if you don't count the random old couple from the opening... so yeah, not really.
>libshits celebrate a false accomplishement
No shit, Sherlock.
movies are idealized stories so yes, the blacks die first, best case theyre not even there.
people should be allowed to dream, dammit.
Wait doesn't a black person die first here as well, considering there's only black people in the movie?
I haven't seen it
>When did this stereotype pop up anyway?
It wasn't a stereotype. It was a genre injoke that now, apparently, uppity, faggot liberals think is a real crime.
Except AvP2 which went full on b schlock 80s
I have never seen a horror movie where the black person dies first. Do they like being victims?
>Considering there's only black people in the movie
They block your service provider's entire IP range if you shitpost too much. I post from my phone and I'm disallowed from making threads on all boards and any posts at all on /his/.
I'm pretty sure there was even a joke/reference in some movie that mentions that the black guy dying first is actually super rare.
>unless they have a pass
>we lived long enough to see le black guy dies first meme become a form of racial oppression
God I love liberals
Fuck off.
>black guy dies first
not actually that common
>counteracts decades of scary movies where the black guy dies first
all those spoof movies in the late 90s early 00s already did this though.
that movie doesn't count because it was made by an evil white male
>Mobile is the future
Do you have a license for that?
Lol who cares? You idiots activity go searching for any media outlet who shares anything even remotely political, no matter how insecure, just do you can screencap their post and upload it here for easy replies. There is literally nothing wrong with that headline but this board will make you think there is. In a day and age with horror movies being dog shit jump scares, Jordan Peele stands out amongst the rest and makes genuinely creepy and engaging horror/thrillers.
The 'black guy dies first' trope was always bullshit. The biggest names of 80s horror (John Carpenter, George Romero, David Cronenberg) don't have one movie I can think of off the top of my head where this happens.
The Witch is miles ahead of anything Jordan Peele has made or will ever made in terms of horror and filmmaking. I'll give you one guess as to why it didn't get one Oscar nomination and Get Out got a bunch.
>It has black people in it = IMPORTANT POWERFUL GAME CHANGER BRILLIANT GENIUS REVOLUTIONARY
That's my least favorite trope, I hope it goes away soon.
>Mobile ips should be disallowed from making threads unless they have a pass
Nobody cares, grandpa
>there is literally nothing wrong with that headline
You should hang.
Well If this guys movies are all Black people cast and someone dies in It,the Black Guy didnt dies First in these movies too?
>Jordan Peele stands out amongst the rest and makes genuinely creepy and engaging horror/thrillers.
Us had to be the least scary shit I've seen in a while. Wasn't even creepy or unnerving, I found myself annoyed more than anything else. Like the actors were trying too hard to be creepy.
does us take place IN africa? that's the only way it would make sense. every character I've seen from is is very dark. american blacks aren't like that.
This. Peele's attempt at art is underwhelming.
nice gif
Yep. Her "evil scary voice" was grating and annoying.
Frost may have actually died first in Aliens. The medic woman got grabbed but I'm not sure if she died. Frost got lit up with her flame thrower and fell down the stair shaft.
literally the first character to die in Us is a black man
Even shit like GQ and Esquire have become cucked. Nothing is safe.
fuck, I was wrong; I was thinking the Dad's clone, but there's the white hobo getting put inside the ambulance when they first get to the beach.
I thought it was the white couple? What did I miss?
Dad kills his own clone in the speedboat before we get to Heidecker's house, iirc
Ever seen Wesley Snipes? Viola Davis?
I was very excited to see “us” and I’m willing to cut some slack for something that is one persons vision and a little different ascopposed to the by-committee overproduced haunted house movie we’ve been getting over and over. Anyway I thought Us was ok, but not great and far from scary. I the scariest part of the movie was when the other family shows up on the driveway. The tension gets ratcheted up and the part when they all run off in separate directions was genuinely spooky. The tension deflated as soon as they gathered in the living room and the clone mom started talking and never recovered imo.
Kinda interesting and eerie but far fromscary.
Oh you're right. The doppelganger of the dad on the boat. He kills him and they sail over to the white couple to find them dead.
>they fell for the meme
Nah he still casts wh*te people in villain roles or as limp-wristed side characters who die early on, hence Tim Heidecker in Us.
the only exemple about black people dying first I remember is Gremlins with the science teacher on the lab.
What if my daddy built my pc?
I think it's an interesting movie, but your're right, it's not scary. Get Out isn't very scary either. I think he gets a pass for BIG IDEAS superseding genuine terror. Hereditary, It Follows, The Babadook, and The Witch I found more terrifying.
>Compaq desktop
It’s called a Compaq PRESARIO you stupid fucking zoomer faggot. Literally kys
Tim Heidecker played the typical white man. He and Elisabeth Moss played the typical white family.
>Thinks building a PC is difficult
>scream 2
>american psycho
>evil dead remake
>new years evil
>queen of the damned
inb4
>b-b-but those don't count!
Huh. Haven’t seen it, but doesn’t the husband (the black guy) die first?
>THIS IS WHAT IS LINKED IN THE ARTICLE
>tvtropes.org
>those film examples
>Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: The gruff black general is killed by Doctor Doom.
OH NO NO NO NO HAHAAHAHAHAHAH
All of those movies you like are satanic. I, for one, don't like devil movies
Horror has always and will always be dogshit. The genre is inherently philistine.
I remember it happened on Jurassic Park.
Reminder.
>Literally kys
Calm down, grandpa. Don’t have a heart attack shitposting
Don't forget to get up bright and early for school tomorrow.
I'll be sleeping in.
>citing tvtropes as a source
Can journalistic standards possibly fall any lower?
not a single white person has survived either of peele's movies
How can I feel the negro's pain if I refuse to watch his films? IGNORED
At least two black guys die in Alien Resurrection
>Christie the mercenary after the swimming scene shootout
>The guard who gets hit with the nitrogen gas shit
It's not whether black people die in the movie, it's whether they are the first people to die. The people cargo that get face huggered count. The security guard definitely is one of the first couple of people. The captain of the main group is the first primary character I believe. Christie is well into the film.
night of the living dead did that in the 70s. I think in alien the black guy was the second to last guy to die in the film (not counting the creature itself).
Why does the media pretend these recent films are the first ones break tropes/portray things that actually have been done decades prior?
Yeah, the black dude in NOTLD was pretty much the main character. Barbara, in the original, was zoned out half the time. The dude got shit done and survived longer than most.
There was the chestburster scene before that though right?
true, the random woman died first from the chestburster.
Most of those movies are the exception, not the rule...
>where the black guy doesn't die first or doesn't die at all:
Get out is easily the most over-rated horror film of all time. Gerald's game, Life, the ritual and It all came out the same year and are leaps and bounds better.
The most accurate part of this movie was how no one in California has guns.
Can anyone name five movies where the black guy dies first.
Most of the movies on that list are either pretty obscure or parodying/subverting the "trope" deliberately. Among most of the mainstream horror franchises it's not really that common to see black guys die first.
Anyway the main point is that Us is hardly the first movie to counteract this trope, whether it actually exists or not. The article (and most of the media hype train) pretends peele is somehow revolutionising horror when he's actually doing nothing new.
like exactly what you do you? fuck off
>stealing ideas from Kojima
...
complex.com
here's a shitty article the counter your shitty article
>Final percentage: Out of the 50 movies considered here, 0.1% (5 out of 50) of them have black characters who die first.
That's the actual quote by the way; I don't know how the author was retarded enough to think 0.1 % of 50 is 5.
Do people seriously still use PCs? Mine is in a box somewhere there's literally no use for it anymore
You responded to the knee-jerk reaction to every time a false accomplishment gets called out.
They'll just ignore you and/or call you a racist or some shit. It's all the same.
Yes, the blog media is trying to spin their agendas and once again only succeed in spinning their wheels.
Yeah, of course, desktop for gaming, watching kino, etc. and laptop for shitposting. I only use my phone for ban evasion, texting or when I'm out and about. Phones are worse in every possible way except portability.
>t. Disgusting boomer with erectile dysfuction born in 1989
>gaming, watching kino, etc. and laptop for shitposting. I only use my phone for ban evasion, texting or when I'm out and about. Phones are worse in every possible way except portability.
Autismo maximum level, grandpa
Because it's boring af
Literally the notable horror films that did this are Gremlins and the shining.
there wasnt even a black guy in the evil dead remake you ultra faggot
>Esquire, GQ, Rolling Stone
I wish all these bullshit onions magazines that try to sell faux masculinity for thousands of dollars would just fuck off and die already.
you know it's black people when they take an old joke seriously
my nigga, why do any computer work when your electrical engineer tech entrepreneur boomer dad can do it?
>hahahaha we were just joking!
Alt-Right.
Remake of House on Haunted Hill? I’m pretty sure the black guy either dies last or doesn’t die at all.
>hurrr they made a joke about our whole race!
>let's make a whole discipline about it
this fragility is why you and your shit skinned brothas will be hanging from trees before the next century
Is that part of your "tight 5"?
Mother
Life
1922
Killing of a sacred deer
Creep 2
The ritual
It
Happy Death day
Geralds game
It comes at night
All these films came out the same year and are in some form better than get out. It's transparently obvious that Peele, Black panther and other "cultural phenomena" films are shilled and artificially proped up by Hollywood for social-political purposes.
Remember Black panther won awards for it's special effects.
So courageous
I know its a meme that the black guy dies first, but is it true? How many times does it happen vs doesnt happen?
See
It's a bad joke from scream that people took seriously. It's up there with the beschel test in term of stupidity.
>I haven't seen it
You’re on /tv talking about it, of course you haven’t
Is this ignoring how his tethered self wrecks absolute shit?
Us has absolutely nothing to do about race. You could replace all the black characters with white characters and it would be the same move.
The only people making this movie about race are /pol/tards. If you’re triggered by the unthreatening presence of blacks you need to figure out how to be less autistic
I would put it in th realm of “slasher” films imo. Jason and Halloween were never scary as much as just violent imo. I thought the apocalypse angle added a lot of depth that you don’t catch if you’re just judging it on the trailer
>thinking lifestyle magazines are supposed to be journalism
Can the state of Burgerland education fall any lower?
>Happy Death day
My man.
That movie was solid. The sequel was a little loose but still fun.
He's one of the only two people to survive. I remember.
The cop from the beginning of Get Out lives
>knows what is compaq
>zoomer
lol
Fun fact, this does not happen in
>A nightmare on Elm Street
>Friday the 13th
>Halloween
>Texas Chainsaw Massacre
>Pet Cemetery
>Scream
>It
>Alien
>Predator
>Terminator
>The Exorcist
>The Omen
>Night of the Living Dead
And pretty much every other pretty famous horror movie.
There's probably a tasteless joke about black people in movie theaters that I'm not clever enough to make.
The black guy literally never dies first unless the movie has a shitty "lol black guy always dies first" joke. Only thing you can argue is that the black guy always just dies, but it's weird to complain about that when there's also 15 white people that die alongside that. What I'm saying is that people are retarded.
"the black guy dies first" was a fucking joke back in the mid 1990's.
it would literally be CLICHE-breaking IF the black guy died first in a horror movie. it would fucking stun the audience.
Or The Thing
Everybody dies in The Thing. The two surviving characters don't die on screen, but they will freeze to death.
