Go away commie, merger is a perfectly normal thing in a capitalistic society.
Daniel Fisher
and that's a good thing!
David Harris
>Free Market >When everything will eventually be owned by one entity who controls all of society by having the ownership of everything Sounds more like monopolies are more communism than Free Market
Wyatt Edwards
You're free to start your own competitor if you wish to. Mergers allow companies to grow easily and earn more profit. Perfectly fine if you're not a dirty commie
Kayden James
What does Disney ABC FOX have a monopoly on? The closest is broadcast tv and they own 2 of the 4 major networks, but cw is sort of a 5th.
They now own 60% of hulu, but they are canceling ties with Netflix. Their combined movie studios are barely 15% of the market.
Joseph Parker
they are in a position were they can't fail captain marvel should have not done well at but it did
Hudson Harris
>You're free to start your own competitor if you wish to. Then get immediately crushed or bought out since said monopolies will have vastily more resources, a larger brand name, and will just bribe government officials to change the country’s laws to favor themselves. You know, things typically describing Disney and they get away with it because they have so much money already.
Isaac White
First of all what does that even mean? Second of all prove it. Third of all whatever the fuck you come up with isn't a monopoly. The definition of monopoly means no reasonable competitors. They have atleast 2 maybe 3 networks that compete, and 85% of other movies that compete.
Look brah I hate capeshit too. But you are talking straight out of your ads.
Brody Flores
Comcast owns NBC and Universal, monopoly laws be damned. A cable company shouldn't own TV. Just support amazon and netflix so the competition stays strong.
Jaxon Clark
You wanna know how to stop a monopoly? Don't buy their shit
Nathan Reed
That's just something I'll happily live with to be in a free society
Jack Barnes
''When the devil comes, he won't look like the devil.''
Zachary Howard
>remember when this country had monopoly laws? Yes, and they're bullshit. If two businesses want to work together, the government has NO right to tell them they can't.
I love disney, own 100k worth of their stock. They pay dividends every quarter. Keeps their stock from rising, but is a constant source of income.
Jason Robinson
Again, that isn't what monopoly means you fucking moron. You are damning vertical integration. And hey if you enjoy buying your fruits at one store and meat at another go ahead and do it, but the supermarket lowers prices.
Now your going to bitch about only having one cable supplier. And that's a valid complaint. But that is really about local law and your shitty landlord. Time Warner would love to compete with your Comcast feed.
Robert Peterson
>commie OP is just a pajeet telecom shill Remember Disney and Sony are the only ones not owned by a big telecom
Xavier Williams
based and libertypilled
Adrian Lewis
>capitalism >companies
companies and enterprises are inherently socialist, they exist only through the state
Julian Thomas
Capitalism and Communism are different flavors of the same low IQ mob-rule shit.
Andrew Ortiz
>TV and movies are as different as fruits and meats
