I don't get the joke around 0:14, when Skinner says "Really? You'll be my Cyrano?" and Homer answers "Hey, if we get your girlfriend back I won't have to!". I presume Skinner is referencing Cyrano de Bergerac, which Homer natutarally doesn't get.
What does Homer think Skinner means by "Cyrano"? As you can probably tell, English isn't my first language.

Nothing complicated, really. Homer is dumb, and since he doesn't know what it means he just assumes it means "you'll be my girlfriend". Season 15 is into the zombie era, so unfunny jokes that don't land are par for the course.
Such a lazy joke and typical of zombie Simpsons. There's a missing element that should actually make it a joke i.e. word-play, euphemism etc.
But the writers just thought "fuck it, it's good enough"

Oh, okay. That makes (some) sense. I've actually been running a Simpsons marathon from the first season and the dip in quality is shocking. I still get a few laughs out of S15, but around S20 it gets too painful to watch.

I spent longer than I should have trying to come up with an answer to this, but I'm stumped. Skinner obviously means Cyrano de Bergerac. The joke behind Homer's response is probably something along the lines of being a replacement girlfriend, but the actual wordplay is too obscure to be funny. I don't think there's anything like this in the Cyrano story, so I'm guessing it's a pun. Maybe Homer understood it as "you'll be my surrogate?" It's probably terrible writing whatever it is.

I'm actually surprised other people are having trouble with this. I thought that the joke would be a wordplay every English-speaker would get. "Surrogate" would make some sense but it's a bit too far from the word "Cyrano".

The joke is clearly that Homer misunderstood Seymour as having said 'Sirano' instead of 'Cyrano'.
Christian Sirano is, of course, a high-end designer fashion label. Homer thought Seymour was requesting Homer to be his tailor, and Homer responded that such taste and discretion is better left to the fairer sex.
This is a direct wink and a nod to more eagle-eyed viewers who - rather than seeing Homer as a slob - see Homer being a man of 'stealth wealth' and fine taste who is never seen without a pair of Gucci loafers.
And the confusion of Sirano and Cyrano certainly rumbled a chortle out of me! Hope I never make that folly in public.

Another idea is that the joke is that Homer does understand the Cyrano reference, but doesn't equate what he proposed to Skinner as being the same thing as what Cyrano did. Rephrased another way, Homer is basically saying "I won't have to write letters for you (or feed you lines) if you win your girlfriend back from me feeding you lines." So the joke is that Homer is knowledgable enough to get the Cyrano reference, but too dimwitted to realize that what he is doing is equivalent to what Cyrano did. This almost seems funnier than any other interpretation I've thought of. However, Homer's phrasing "hey--if we get your girlfriend back, I won't have to!" doesn't really work with that interpretation.
