I didn't understand this at all. In the first movie the empire raids her cantina. And the heroes only make it out alive by killing a shit ton of troopers and running for the falcon. But maz was in the basement when all this started and presumably had to look after her employees. She knowingly harbored rebel scum, and the most dangerous rebels in the galaxy. Why didn't the storm troopers take her out back and shoot her in the head?
