Is he undead or alive and just brainwashed? Does he need to sleep or eat? Can he talk?

Is he undead or alive and just brainwashed? Does he need to sleep or eat? Can he talk?
What the fuck was his problem?

Why are the fantasy elements of GoT so cringe?

Its Qyburn nigguh I aint gotta explain shit

Because GRRM taste in fantasy is really generic and shlocky and it is only because he decided on a more historical/medieval low-magic feel for his setting that he has managed to convince people otherwise.

Why did they decide to badly cgi a helmet over his face?

Not undead in the necromancy sense, but in the science sense. He is just a dead corpse injected with various fluids that lets him move around and understand basic orders.

those costumes are so fucking cringe

Their costume design game has gotten worse over time. Gotta cut corners if you want to be able to pay out all those million dollars per episode acting contracts.

feels like they hired the dude from mortal kombat.

>science over necromancy in the GoT universe

Don't forget bigger and longer dragon CGI. Computer nerds aren't cheap these days.

he can't stand that the cunt Eddie still holds the title for the highest DL ever

Has he lost his mind?
Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all?
Or if he moves, will he fall?
Is he alive or dead?
Has he thoughts within his head?

GRRM specifically designed the magic in ASOIAF to have be mechanically coherent which means it is scientific essentially.
jews

oh god that buckethead looks fucking retarded. kingsguard helmets were always retarded but this looks even worse for some reason i can't put my finger on

I swear there was a scene a season or so ago where all the characters in it were just wearing modern day looking designer leather jackets and if it wasn't for the fact they were standing in front of a castle and talking about kings you would never have known it was a fantasy.

ASOIAF is scifi

his new outfit is so bad it hurts. what where they thinking?

Looks awesome

This guy is tall, but they should have put him on lifts to match the character's height (8ft) in the books.

>he doesn't know

Attached: poor sweet joff.jpg (1280x1503, 112K)

yeah, thats his old one, sorry for the title. The new one OP posted looks like spaceballs Dark Helmet.

sensible chuckle

Nobody wants him, they just turn their heads
Nobody helps him, now he has his revenge

it's a real helmet, user.

> mechanically coherent magic

yeah, like breathing fire and stuff.

Whats his tax policy?

>Is he undead or alive and just brainwashed?

In the book he died and was reanimated. He's basically a Frankenstein monster.

Heavy boots of lead
Fill his victims full of dread

huh it fits really

>book
Not cannon.

because the show sucks just like the books

He looked fucking great in the OG kingsguard armor. It made him look 10 feet tall.
The new armor makes him look squished

Attached: themountain.jpg (480x571, 52K)

Frankenstein monster had conscience and an everlasting struggle with himself and his creator on an existencial level. Strong looks it's like a mindless speechless zombie.

He also has no head in the books.

costumes, screenwriting, actors, sets. Everything got chopped for dargons CGI

why cant they just reuse costumes from previous seasons?

Qyburn fucked up his haircut.

he doesn't mean "realistic to real life phsyics" you brainlet, he's saying it's given practical boundaries

>he will be killed by Arya because doggo is on a redemption quest, becoming the surrogate direwolf of the starks

Attached: 1553935630614.jpg (879x749, 97K)

Why does Qyburn maintain such strong allegiance to Cersei? Wasn't he Roose Bolton's maester? Why did Roose give him away?

Attached: 9F073204-FE3A-4664-8185-F3A434A75246.jpg (536x401, 39K)

He cute

>Why does Qyburn maintain such strong allegiance to Cersei
She lets him do whatever the fuck he wants. Plus he went from a disgraced maester to hand of the king pretty fast.
>Wasn't he Roose Bolton's maester?
Hes technically not a maester and im sure the Dread Fort had its own maester.
>Why did Roose give him away?
To care for Jaime on their trip back to kings landing. If Jaime were to die on the way back that would be very bad for Roose's alliance with Tywin.

He went with Jimmy to make sure he diesn't die from infection and stuck in KL because Siri lets him experiment around with her enemies.

Any fucking magic in any fucking fictional universe is given some boundaries, that's a meaningless thing to say. Just say "it's magic", it's that easy.

You think they hired scorpion?

What is cringe to you, and what is some non-cringe fantasy?

she made him hand of the queen. Obviously he has been advising her and doing his own work. What's his endgame?

>What's his endgame?

Dying pointlessly in a YASS KWEEN scene.
