Atlantis was a whole different level though. IIRC Atlantis had 2 sequels and a tv show planned before it released. So much quality and talent and support that flopping was a huge black swan.

The main reason it flopped is because treasure island is too well recognized as an utterly timeless classic and Disney didn’t want to put the time or effort in to adapt it properly. It’s one of the few perfect books that have been written so nothing is going to do it justice.

Titan AE isn't Disney, in fact people point to it as the film that sunk Fox animation. Personally I love it and those three are perfect comfy rainy Sunday viewing.

Titan AE couldn't afford a legit goo goo dolls same-song-as-always tie in so they used that stupid shit. Also it fell into the trap of hiring actors to do voice work in the wrongest of ways (except leguizamo who fucking nailed it). It was always doomed to failure.
