Despite predicably the show suffering a downgrade moving to Netflix i'd say Adam's role was the most watered down. Not only did he suddendly just turn into an in camera laugh track only waiting to sing with Norm and nothing else also the guests don't shit on him anymore.

I mostly blame the frantic editing, hopefuly the next season they can go on for an hour each episode but i doubt it.

It's pretty obvious Norm knows way too much about holocaust revisionism. No one does that much prep work for a silly skit that they can comment on why the shadows of the smokestacks at Dachau were fake or whatever. Also Norm said David Irving was smart and was too smart for Eget to like. Norm has also mentioned having beliefs so controversial that he will never share them.

Oh man that's kind of a bummer but ever since the show got announced i assumed it was just a bonus from the show itself and did so just to be fine if it got cancelled since Norm seemed really tired of the podcast anway, still a bummer.

Hopefuly but i doubt this hope Norm can meme himself into continuing it in some way. He kept mentioning that he had become good pals with higher up at netflix Ted Sarandos so that might be an in but maybe it was just Norm getting meme'd by a suit. We'll see.

I'm not american so i could never see him live on tour, taking that in account and the fact that he's so adverse to making specials i'd be a bummer to have this be all i'll see and i've seen from me beloved chunk of coal.

The problem was that the original youtube episodes had more space for free-form, flowy jokes and odd-ball, off-kilter humour. They forced them to condense it and be more "palatable" but a lot of what made the interviews great were the long pauses, or the quality of things teetering on an edge into a comedy abyss which was lost in translation.

It's pretty sad, honestly. Norm's a genius but just can't help himself. I'm a lousy drunk so I kinda know the feeling, but I also hate my habit. Hearing him and Artie talk about gambling, you'd think they're masturbating while they tell the story. Who knows if he actually threw his money in the ocean to stop gambling, point is in his mind that's the only way to stop.
