Other anons, post an underrated episode to counteract that overrated one. I’ll start with an easy one.
“Reigns of Castamere” is the single most overrated hour in television history

Just for the sake of the bump. “Ghosts of Harrenhal” is a massively underrated episode. Arya and Tywin on screen together were some of the best scenes in the show
>Arya and Tywin on screen together were some of the best scenes in the show
This, I loved that plot line.
same, Tywin was great.
Arya's entire post season 1 story arc was great until Bravos.
>look at me! i hate a really popular episode cause everyone else likes it! im such a contrarian xDDD
Ozymandias.
I don’t even know why it’s praised.
this
The Fly. In retrospect, that was the only great episode that show had.
This is a typical episode that's only famous for its last ten minutes. The wedding was great, but does anyone remember what else happened in this episode without looking it up?
The popularity is understandable, though. Season 3 was really slow and uneventful, and this was the first episode where something really significant happened.
Yeah Darcy and Rob dance
Fuck off rian Johnson you psued piece of shit
Name something good about the episode besides the red wedding which everyone could tell was coming. Oh wait that’s right, you can’t.
Suggest your own episode then instead of complaining, faggot
>Overrated
The Sneed episode
True that. Also after all these years only realised after my parents are doing a rewatch before the final scene that completely went over my head in the past. But despite Tywins affections for Arya, when he gives her his food he is also using her as a food taster incase his food is being poisoned as this happens just after what he believes to be an assassination attempt on his life.
the whole show went to shit after season 1 and is overrated.
fedora tier post
>overrated
>you shouldn't like something as much as you currently do
>underrated
>you should like something more than you currently do
Sorry I don't base my worldview on how much other people enjoy things OP, you colossal cuck.
overrated means that something is generally considered to be better than it is actually is. and underrated means the converse. it has nothing to do with how much you should like it personally
but i take the point that 'overrated' and 'underrated' are very lazy and over-used terms in music and film
>objects don't exist
But season 2 and 4 were the best.
yeah, this is every post on this fucking board,
I'm so sick of it
>I'm special because I hate popular things
pine barrens isn't MASSIVELY better than any other sopranos episodes from around that same time in the show. people just blow it up because there's more mob action than the average episode.
Arya and Hound talk. Robb's Uncle sees his bride and then the ladies make them have sex and then everyone dies
>overrated means that something is generally considered to be better than it is actually is.
And who is to say how good something "actually is"? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The terms overrated and underrated imply that we mortals could be capable of an objective perception of reality. This is foolish. They are used as terminological placeholders while we lack sufficient means of explaining our emotional connections to things with language. When someone says something is overrated it tells me a lot more about the person making this claim that about the object in question. Basically
>please think like me, i don't want to be alone
Marge vs. the Monorail
It's a fine episode but holy hell is it overrated
Love that rockwell desu
Overrated: Through The Looking Glass. Good episode, but the Jack flash forwards kinda drag it down. As with The Rains of Castamere, it's mostly known for the last ten minutes ("Not Penny's boat" and "We have to go back").
Underrated: LaFleur. People shit on season 5 for muh time travel, but this is the episode where Sawyer & Co settle down in Dharmaville in the 70s and it's really great.
There are a couple of big action sequences- Daenerys takes Yunkai at night and the cucking of Jorah is completed & Jon kills Orell and escapes the wildlings when Bran wargs the wolves from the tower nearby . You don't remember them because of the Red Wedding

the Lisa one where Bleeding Gums Murphy dies one is even more overrated. James L Brooks is horrid and his episodes have nothing to do with the normal tone of the show.
Nigga the post is giving credit to episodes forgotten or not talked about enough and calling out the ones that are that don’t deserve to be
Nobody needs your armchair psychology diagnosis, fatty
I remember when Bran was in the tower and Jon fought just outside. I just didn't remember it was in the same episode.
