God dam fookin prawns
God I wish they'd make a sequel to D9
Avatar was unironically better than District 9
at this point i don't. cause Neil's last few films have been boring af.
in terms of box office gross yes
No. Even from a filmmaking standpoint it’s a better movie.
District 9 didn’t know what it wanted to be. It was like LoK in the sense that it tried to introduce all of these weighty themes and political analogues but ultimately said nothing about them and then the last act of the movie turned into a dumb action film.
Avatar knew exactly what it wanted to be from the beginning and there wasn’t any of this cognitive dissonance in the writing and themes that made the movie feel like an unfocused, hypocritical fanfic.
Social Network
Fpbp
Spbp
what are the odds, good taste
Unironically La La Land
I got kicked out of an indoor range once for shooting those targets lol
avatar is for one or two seeings. you can rewatch district 9 forever just like terminator.
Modern day classics you ask? well then only one movie really fits the mark
its rush(2013), truly the best movie made in the last 10 years
Absolutely based
Kino of the highest magnitude.
Checked and totally agree. Just watched D9 a few days ago. Haven't seen Avatar since the theater. I love D9, wish Neill would make a sequel
Good time
>Avatar knew exactly what it wanted to be from the beginning
yea, a fucking pocahoontas rip-off
come on, it was shit, district 9 fucking presented a selfish protagonist intentionaly, that has more balls than anything avatar had to offer
Fucking loved this film.
Why did he suddenly become selfless at the end?
There was no reason. Blomkamp just wanted another action set piece where our """selfless""" protagonist violently and gleefully blasts away at a bunch of faceless mooks who probably had families back home.
It was shit writing.
that movie sucked and you are retarded
More like headache Henry. They should've filled it in 60fps at least
This was really good too, I think it'll be a cult classic in a few decades.
I don't care what anyone says. This movie was amazing.
>District 9 didn’t know what it wanted to be
It was a cool movie about aliens in south africa and a selfish but sympathetic corporate lackey who ends up way over his head
why lol
I watched this with my friends because it looked cool and i enjoyed it but friends wouldnt atop complaining about thwir accent and low social status
Is that a pleb filter?
...
This but unironically
He sounds like a city faggot soiboy.
Genuinely up there with the best of all time. And unironically misunderstood
