i like it. it's good, but not great.

I love it, you really need to pay attention to it though I think loads of the jokes are really subtle and easy to miss

Lovely stuff for the most part. The technology difficulty stuff with Simon doesn't really work for me and the audience participation segments are a bit hit or miss. But Coogan hasn't really missed a step with his portrayal of Alan and the Co-host and Lynn are pretty great as well. I was absolutely howling with laughter at the scene at the old host's memorial.

The more about Alan you know the funnier it is.

For example, the episode where he does CPR on the sex Roll, he mentions he got it off Pete Gabitas. In his book he talks about Pete Gabitas getting a Russian bride and bringing more eastern European over for Alan and his friends, which is how be met Sonya. Just implies Pete Gabitas is a massive pervert all the time.

There are loads of little jokes and offhand comments like this. The more Partridge you consume the funnier it gets, he's actually very well written. Listen to both his books, as audio books, they're on YouTube and funny as fuck

The show itself is pretty good, but it's not got many laugh out loud moments, more of a steady stream of giggles.

I'm really enjoying it. There's been a few bits for me that didn't land but 99% of the time I've been laughing and cringing
