Well it was renewed and I'm enjoying it, so nothing really.

>Hey, you hear about Star Trek?
>Yeah?
>The movie about bright lights and big explosions and sexy young people running through hallways?
>Yeah! *clap clap* yeah! I love *clap* Abrams!
>Well lets make a TV SERIES ABOUT THAT!
[clapping intensifies, followed by meal supplements and tickets to RENT.]

What did she see?

I actually liked that song, and I thought the Beyond trailer that used it was the strongest one they released.

She finally realized that 13 does 50

Come on now senpai. As someone who somewhat enjoyed the first season and actually found the second half pretty good...it's impossible for deny that season 2 has been godawful.

>DSC movie
can you imagine?

Stepping outside of memes for the moment, I'll agree the Red Angel stuff has been pretty bad. I've liked individual episodes, like New Eden, the one with the dying planetoid computer, the one with Saru's homeworld, the one where we go back to Talos. But yes, the whole Section 31/Red Angel stuff is terrible.

However, that said, I wouldn't be opposed to a Section 31 show headed up by Georgiou and Tyler, and I'm still looking forward to the Picard show. If the rumour about STD S3 is true that they jump to the Andromeda galaxy and get stuck there, that could be an interesting avenue for the show to take too.

>like New Eden, the one with the dying planetoid computer, the one with Saru's homeworld
yeah, those have been the only tolerable eps this season
>the one where we go back to Talos
cringe
>headed up by Georgiou
This bitch has been doing English-language movies for nearly 30 years and she still can't speak the language without sounding like a retard. Thank u, next

The writing is really fucking shit i hate it so much

She's perfectly understandable, it's just her native Malaysian accent she's using.

Andromeda is where once-good sci-fi goes to die.

Isn't The Orville on the verge on cancellation?

GET WOKE

whats wrong is that television producers have WAY more money than sense, and they (and their god) hate your way of life passionately
they're willing to waste millions of dollars over and over, just for the small chance that some degenerate piece of social engineering becomes popular

also I feel like the empress got neutered way too quickly
they have a decent actress playing her, and AFAIK there is no subplot where she's trying to take over the federation
I could be wrong, I stopped watching

I hate this bitch's fucking face so much. Her, black Domino and that Ragnarok sheboon can all eat some pavement.

Ah yes, the Incelle that great show.

ALL RIGHT NOW

Incelle, Disney shills can't meme.
Also have penor in vegene

I kind of like Terminator: Discovery though

>Orville is Fox
>Fox is Disney now

Are you confused?

Because it's not canon, and is legally required to be different, fine to rights issues between Viacom and CBS, the video below explains it.
youtube.com/watch?v=ojtX_Oz4WsU

It was a 50/50 shot, but with the Disney acquisition of FOX now, who knows?

I'm actually relieved. Less chances for them to besmirch the imagery and legacy of the good shows with this rule.

I'm guessing basing a show on a main character both stoic and infallible, but also uncharismatic and unlikeable is a bad combination.

From the first episode of Star Trek in 1966, up until the last episode of Enterprise in 2005, the Star Trek canon consisted of multiple tv series and feature films, all of which were interconnected, and which spanned several starships and crews over the course of 200 years.

Such interconnectivity is no longer possible.

Modern Star Trek consists of the rebooted Paramount/Bad robot films set in the Kelvin timeline, and Star Trek Discovery, which has no connection to the movies, as it is set in the prime timeline – despite it not lining up with canon in any way, shape or form. There is a reason for that.

Behind this drastic change, are complex rights and licensing issues, which are frequently referenced, but their details and implications have hitherto not been fully explored.

In this video, we will break down these rights and licensing issues, their repercussions, and the key people for better or worse associated with them, and if there is a way forward where canon can be preserved.

>despite it not lining up with canon in any way, shape or form
prove it

Have you watched the show. Who is Michael burnmen, oh yeah the MtF half human half trannie black jew nigger, that was never mentioned ever in the OG series.

How did a retarded fat ugly ginger get a top role on this sho-

...oh

You mean to tell me Spock had a long-lost sibling that nobody ever talked about?
SHOCKER!

Attached: Sybok.jpg (603x804, 220K)

It honestly deserves it after the mostly shit season it's putting out

This piece of shit.

>long-lost
What the fuck do you think this means? Because we've been introduced to Spocks mother, his Vulcan Father, we've even met his mother fucking wife.

>Not part of the original timeline
But they directly reference the Talos thing. With clips. From the original series.

Look mate it's a load of old shit and you know it, fucking STD shills.

Contemporary politics has always mixed with star trek, so it's nothing new but.... Today politics is gay. Nobody wants gay in their sci fi.
