Think of 2 (The Lost World) as a Jurassic Park spin-off. The JP world is there, but it's a different theme/setting altogether. It's entertaining and adds to the universe a little bit.
3 is a mess. There's a few OK parts, but it's overall the worst one of the sequels. It kinda feels like a cheap knock-off using the JP setting and Sam Neil, with a Laura Dern cameo. Watch only for completion's sake.

Jurassic World was just a remake of the first movie with the themes stripped out to dumb it down for fucking retards like you. It's not necessarily a worse movie than 2 or 3 but what it represents is so insulting that it ranks absolutely lowest.

Pay attention next time. Endless plot holes so big you could drive a truck through them. Zero character development. Gymnastics fight with a raptor.

For me it's mostly because it completely ignores the second novel which it's supposedly based on. The novel, while not as good as the first one was still great and it deserved a better movie.

J2 was great. Except it goes to shit around act 3. Because they never answer what the fuck happened to the guys on the boat, and how the trex got free

JP1 - doesn't need defending
JP2 - solid cast, supremely underrated John Williams score, even better CGI than JP1 but still uses puppets/animatronics, trailer scene kino, raptors in the tall grass, Pete fucking Postlethwaite, San Diego is competently shot and fun, other than gymnastics you really can't knock this film.
JP3 - river scene is alright, Raptor designs kinda cool, finally get aviary scene from first book
JW - absolute unadulterated dogshit, the absolute pinnacle of what's shit about current blockbusters. Chris Pratt doesn't have the charisma of even the 3rd tier cast of the first two films. Rex vs Indominus whatever scene was exciting though.
FK - killer intro, then flatlines to a C/C- for the rest of the movie.

I'd rather watch JP3 than Jurassic World any day.

They couldn't have remade JP2 worse, all they had to do was follow the format and instead they were literally on the island for 10 minutes and by the 50 min mark the entire movie has the air let out of it since they leave the island

Agree with this. JP is one of my top 10 favorites of all time. I think JP2 is a great movie. Although it’s a dumbed down version of 1 it is still a lot of fun. I think this reviewer said it best (pic related)

BTW: JP3 is not any good, JW is dumb and FK was the worst by far.

Jurassic Word and it's sequel both ran on full retard power, but the first movie could have been saved if the Indominous Rex was supposed to be a previously unknown dinosaur discovered on accident through gene sequencing. The mystery is how such an insanely good predator could ever survive let alone evolve in the wild without devestating it's food source. It being a fakeasaurus is the big twis.

Haven’t you seen Ready Player One? That was a really fun movie. Thought it would be an awkward attempt to connect with youth, but wow that movie was cool. Especially the first view of Oasis and the Shining sequence. I watched it in 4DX which added alot to the experience tho. First time that 4DX worked the way it should for me

Lost World is still the best sequel IMO and the best score of the entire series. Jurassic Park 3 is the one I would still consider the worst within the entire series as a whole, the only scene I can ever really rewatch is the bird cage scene which was the only well executed scene in the movie.

I think there was originally going to be a scene showing a couple of velociraptors killing everyone on the boat. I remember there being a little end game scene showing raptors running into the wilderness at the end of the Jurassic Park 2 game for PlayStation.

No, they're awful and add nothing. The first movie is perfect and self-sufficient as is.
