The two best episodes were this and the rift one, and it turns out they were both written/ adapted from the same dude

Yeah, that's my favorite one. The Russian one was cool, too. The three robots short was a bit too memey. My list is this:
Zima Blue
Secret War
Beyond the Aquila Rift
The Witness
Fish Night
Ice Age
Shape-Shifters
Suits
Sucker of Souls
Good Hunting
The Dump
Lucky 13
Helping Hand
Blindspot
When the Yogurt Took Over
Sonnie's Edge
Three Robots
Alternate History

Is the current scene this deprived? I've seen better Courage the Cowardly Dog episodes.

Animatrix was just as shit. Only thing that saved it was Second Renaissance and the movie tie in Last Flight of the Osiris.

WHAT IS THIS METROPOLIS BUT WITH N-WORDS

blindspot, sucker of souls and good hunting are complete dogshit

good hunting was actually p good imo
t. have never watched and will never anime

>How did you guys like Love, Death, and Robots?
I mostly didn't. It fel a bit like that terrible Heavy Metal movie from the early 80's, only less fun.

>Favorite episode?
Zima Blue was probably the only episode I did like.

Sucker of souls had nothing to do with the theme of the rest , like seriously this would be if half way through metal gear solid you play a level of castlvania

what’s your problem with good hunting?

Not him, but Good Hunting felt like a very confused story. The first half or so was promising but didn't really fit into the themes of the rest of the series, while the second half fit the theme better but was an incredibly weak story. Had it simply ended with the scene where the kitsune said that her powers were disappearing due to the rise of technology it would have been a much better episode.

Idk it seemed like a pretty decent analogy for how the Chinese view their history and their current place in the world
>old generations were strong and good, but ultimately misguided
>paves way for invaders
>invaders subjugate you through through technological superiority
>use the very technology they used to humiliate you to enact vengeance upon them

That's what I got out of it too; the Kitsune eventually regained her shapeshifting powers with a clean metal skin - which is *good* but at the same time, you can't help but feel like something was lost and gone forever. Only other time I've ever felt this was with a Ghibli film, which is very high praise.

who the fuck is Ghibli

>it's the Yea Forums fags who adore this show
Surprising absolutely no one

Pretentious hipster garbage.

Studio Ghibli, who made such works as “Spirited Away” and “Princess Mononoke.”

Extremely overrated. Even the best episodes like OP are just ok.
The worst ones are a legitimate waste of time. I don't get why you guys talk so much about it when it's painfully mediocre and won't be remembered six months from now. It literally gave nothing to sci-fi, all has already been done somewhere else and better.
