It wasn't ever capekino. Season 1 was good. Great for a fan of the comics, but just decent otherwise thanks to having an unused movie script to work off of. Still had lots of problems like shitty CW relationship drama, a monster of the week formula that led to zero-dimensional villains every time except for the recurring ones like Professor Zoom and Captain Cold, and really awful action besides a few standout moments like the train scene. I mean, the most hyped up battles ended up being complete garbage, like the Gorilla Grodd episode being nothing more than a vessel for making Iris relevant and the Reverse Flash vs Flash, Firestorm, and Green Arrow fight having so many problems that I could write an essay about it. Plus it ended really shittily too. It was dumb when Looper did it and it's still dumb now especially since Barry is directly responsible for Eddie's death and probably thousands of people dying to the singularity by not letting Reverse Flash leave. Despite that, the first thing you see in the next season is Flash getting hailed as a hero and the show never stops to address anything, and it only goes downhill from there.

Season 2 is mostly a retread of Season 1 since the writers probably didn't know how to do shit after running out of movie script, and in doing so just plucked the second most famous evil speedster from the comics and ruined him completely. Still not irredeemably garbage yet but the cracks definitely began to show. Then Season 3 came out and it was utter shite but people thought it might just be an off season, only to be shat upon harder by Season 4 and 5.

Eddie created the singularity by killing himself and triggering an unsustainable paradox. It amazes me how many people don't understand that.

Still doesn't mean it works in a TV show especially when they do it every fucking season with the particle accelerator metas, Zoom's goons from Earth 2, the bus metas, etc.
I know Eddie created it, that's why I said Barry was responsible for Eddie's death and the singularity eating up Central City. Barry and friends beat Reverse Flash and locked him up in the anti-power jail cell. Then they decide to let him go back to the future while Barry goes to the past to save his mother. Then Barry makes the split second decision to not save his mother and go back to the present to punch the time machine into bits which pisses Reverse Flash off and Barry gets his ass kicked. Eddie then shoots himself to stop him, creating the singularity and killing who knows how many people. Barry had Eobard locked up for good, decided to release him, then changes his mind while he's in the process of leaving. He could have just left him in there to rot but somehow seeing his future self do the Gilette commercial black man "nah bro" to him makes him realize he has everything he wants so he fucks up the time machine while Reverse Flash is still free and not stuck in the pipeline leading to the rampage. Then the next season opens with him getting the key to the city and called a hero for saving the city from the singularity?

They allowed fags and socialist a seat in the writer's room. Make it more CWish. And less quality for the sake of promoting the left wing agenda.

You already spotted the trend in Season 3. Season 4 oh man they just fully embarrassed themselves. Iris, the leader of team flash. Barry is beta and a side character in his own story. The way they handled Savitar and the thinker. The girls not out episode. Downgrading cisco while every other episode is killer frost. Time traveling bi daughter. Now that turned Arrow into beta cuck and made him a second tier character in his own show for Mary Sue Felicity. Thats have been shit for a while now except season 5. Legends feels more and more like a girl power lgbtq series now. All the guys are now side characters for feminist and dykes. The CW is nothing more than a disease .

I overall enjoy the Flash and think it is relatively comfy and has way less political agenda than the other CW shows (that being said it still has some).

Nah, Grace is in it for the long haul. Godspeed is probably a season 6 lead-in at beast, and a disposable villain of the week at worst.

when they made the flash arrow became shit. when flash got bad arrow got good again, then both shows became bad again and legends became amazing

Legends were amazing. Till it replaced Supergirl ad the flagship show for pushing their left-wing agenda. They just put comedy on top. This season was were shit compared to Season 2. Season 3 was a hit or miss because that's when they were pushing that LGBTQ shit hard.

Barry returns from the speed force and after a bit of time, is no worse for wear. New villain named The Thinker emerged, he got his super intellect powers from the particle accelerator blast and plans on reverting humanity to caveman intellect for some reason. He's also able to bodysnatch and steal powers. Elongated Man joins the team and for a discount Jim Carrey he's actually pretty good. Flash and co stop Thinker and Barry has to blow up a satellite to stop the caveman beam and would have died but is helped by a female speedster who reveals herself to be his daughter from the future. New villain called Cicada emerges along with a bunch of other metas resulting from the caveman satellite explosion. Cicada wants to kill all metas because his daughter was hurt by one. He has the power to remove meta powers in a small radius, and team Flash jobs to him every time instead of just getting Joe to shoot him or something. Flash's daughter is revealed to be working with Eobard Thawne in the future. Cicada's daughter ends up being a bad guy from the future. A shark fights a gorilla.

Nothing, made killer frost more important than she needs to be. Sidelined Joe for Cecil and made her a meta. Iris was affirmative actioned into being the leader of Team Flash. Cisco with nice long hair was feminized even more. He barely uses his powers anymore. Kid Flash was written out. Iris and Barry bi daughter from the future is slowly becoming the new lead of the show. Felton was wasted and never mentioned again. Thinker started off as an awesome foe but became a libtard version of Cell from DBZ. Another version of Wells because Cavanaugh cant step away from the show. The flash sucks now. It went from bad to worse

I imagine it's quite difficult to write an OP character with 23 episodes per season. Especially when you start with his biggest villain. He probably should have had a more shonen tier power creep instead of being able to time travel by the end of the first season

Yeah I know but I kept hoping for more reverse flash, hoping the action would pick up again, and other shit that didn't happen. If it helps I've barely bothered with the latest season and was usually doing something while it was on.

Yeah no doubt it's been one retarded thing after another with her character and being hot as fuck isn't good enough for me anymore. I don't have time for any of this bullshit as I just wanted to watch Flash fuck up bad guys using his speed in interesting ways, not to see her hitting on chicks at a coffee shop or having Iris talk about what's gotten up her vagina this week.

Three things:

1. Incredibly bloated seasons with like 25 episodes so you're mostly gonna get absolute Z-list garbage metahuman of the week episodes.

2. Season-long plotlines. The writers could have made the huge episode count work by instead creating self-contained arcs, but they decided to throw in "mystery villains" after the first Thawne twist was mildly well received. But you can have the most interesting villain ever put to screen and no one's gonna give a shit when everyone's still guessing his identity after six fucking months of nothing.

3. Dogshit supporting cast. They have to keep introducing and dropping dead weight support characters to fill out the enormous seasons, so we get new characters who fucking suck, rewrites of existing characters that fucking suck, and pointless sideplots for the original cast like Killer Frost finds her dad or some shit.

I miss when Flash punched a steel guy at supersonic speeds and I'm still salty about how badly they butchered Zoom
