BATMAN PRODUCER ON THE JOAQUIN PHOENIX JOKER MOVIE:

BATMAN PRODUCER ON THE JOAQUIN PHOENIX JOKER MOVIE:
Let's talk about the Joker film coming out in October.

We're in a world right now where the major studios, networks, and cable companies are on the brink of over-saturating the market and potentially killing the goose that laid the golden egg. I'm a great believer that different is good. Creating something unique is good.

>To take a comic book movie and character and make what in essence is a stylish, film noir, crime drama is pretty amazing, as weird as it may be. I'm very, very happy to see what Todd Phillips has hatched here. He's a fantastic director and person and executed his vision of what this film could be.

Phoenix will at least be good

>stylish, film noir

sorry desu, but that facepaint still makes this goofy. can't be film noir with face paint.

Did you want joker without face paint?

I think the question on everyone's mind is if he's going to say it

Gonna be kino that will most likely go unappreciated by capeshit audiences today.

not necessarily, but the saying something like this while he's done up like that tells me that they're trying to get some pseud aura around the movie to offset criticism. I'm suspicious.

Facepaint isnt goofy at all here. Theres no reason this cant be what he claims to be going for

Joaquin will improvise and say it but it'll be edited out. Need the PHILLIPS CUT.
