I just went to the movies by myself to watch this and I was fine. Was pretty empty apart from some couple that came in a bit late, as it was a very early screening. I think the stigma about going to the movies alone is gone nowadays. I see tons of people doing it when I go with friends. Enjoy it while you can! Because it will never be the same as in the cinema.

It was the opposite for me. I was practically in pain because I wasn't sure when I'd see it again after the first. But i got to seecot two more times and i think once more before she leaves theaters will be enough.

Not really. You could build a 20 story skyscrapper for 100 million, whereas for Alita they just built a few structures on the parking lot of Robert's studio. It couldn't have cost more than 5 million to build the entire set, and I'm being very generous here, because that's multiple times over the market price.

I bet the entire movie cost no more than 50 million to make without the CGI expenses.

I never worked at movies but I have a small experience with tv production (not my job, worked with people who dealed with tv production) and I know even for the simplest things you think are cheap things costs increase easily

Very minor facial differences. The most noticeable is that the final model has bigger pupils and irises. But the 1st trailer had wip models so the face was going to change anyway.

Thing is, adjusting the size of her eyes only requires re-rendering of the 3D and whatever post-production that's done on the image. If they still had the source files, that is mostly computer time and quality control. There's no need re-shoot, re-cut or re-score it. It's mostly processing time.

I don't know, I liked her and got hyped from the first teaser, I always liked her big eyes and I thought everyone who was complaining about them was crazy
