I will never forget watching The Blair Witch Project. One of the fondest memories of my life. The build-up by my classmates, the fear that kept me awake until dawn, that I changed the channel as soon as I caught it on tv in a later date.

The village scene from Dabbe reminded me of Noroi and when I read up on the series the director started the first film because he was influenced by J-horror. That explains that and supposedly the first film is more J-horror like than this one. The only problem is that the first one is not FF.

This wasn't as good as Chronicle, but pretty damn nice all the same, nice vampire mythos, qt vamp chick, likable bros as the leads, decent budget.
