>The term gooseflesh is the oldest of these expressions, first seen in the mid-1700s. Goosebumps was coined in the mid-1800s and goose pimples around the turn of the twentieth century.

I was so overwhelmed by that second half (and by Asuka's fights) that I couldn't see

And then they keep her alive and drag her out on meat hooks right after, she had it pretty rough.

The elevator scene in Drive where Goose caves the hitman's head in with his foot. It's so visceral - totally sums up Refn's work imo.
I'm queasy and don't like stuff like that. Drive was an easy watch for me
did I watch a censored version? I don't remember that
Call me gay but I prefer the moment when he kisses bananagirl just before the stomping.
The alien scene at the end of Annihilation.

This is what did it for me. the xzibit song, showing that the FBI is watching them. episode 6
people like episode 5 a lot and said they stuck with it because tony killed a fella in the last one, but i wasn't convinced.
turns out i was wrong and it wasn't going to be an fbi chasing series, i liked it for all the wrong reasons. it's still my favorite and i'm glad it didn't go down that route, but seeing the cork board kept me interested long enough for season 2 to take me away.
this fucking scene in gladiator
it's even better if you know the history behind the battle that's it's supposed to portray
Mystery, adventure, suspenseful yet wonderful. All these feelings captured by beautiful scenery which is convincing and some of the most inspiring music to grace the cinema. Modern Hollywood is incapable of crafting such a scene.
