How long does it take to get to where you have like 3,000+ratings? I made my account yesterday and have a little over 100 now from anything I’ve watching the last couple years. I also struggle with getting a healthy distribution centered on 2 1/2 stars

Import ratings from another source/site from years of watching multiple movies a day. Or you could be one of those people who rates on nostalgia everything you've seen in your entire life, even if you barely remember it, just to rise numbers.

The reality is that the distribution will occur naturally if you're honest about ratings and don't just see things that are skewed in quality to one end or the other. It just takes a lot of time.

Personally I don't care if mine's skewed a bit more to higher end though because I don't typically seek out mediocre things and there are plenty of high quality movies I haven't watched yet, but I've seen enough shit to know what it looks like.
