Because they couldn't renew the all the licensed songs for future releases so the Netflix and Amazon versions have different songs. Of course the old DVDs have the original music but for future releases (like a boxset) they probably have to renew the licenses which is not going to happen. This shit has happened in the video game industry, the newer releases of GTA VC, SA and IV have gimped soundtracks.

Teen Wolf is bad and not in a charming way. I only saw a few episodes so maybe it gets better but I doubt it. TVD is fine. It's no Supernatural but if you turn off your brain there's a couple of truly based characters that make it a fun ride for a few seasons if you've got nothing better to watch. Shadowhunters is not good. There's a couple of amusing characters but the plots are not good and the premise is uninspired. It's only real draw is that the waifu game is absurd so if that's your thing it's

The main villain is generally amusing, the gay archer dude hates the protagonist for literally no reason and gives zero fucks about showing it which is pretty funny at times, and the best friend is irritatingly likeable and may be relatable too.
Honestly the most interesting thing about the show is how tonally dissonant it is. There's cheesy music singalongs, god awful dialogue and then someone will get introduced who had all their skin blow-torched off so they stole someone else's face. In the second season there's also a witch that tries to get the main character raped and impregnated by a demon, there's an ongoing relationship that gets interrupted because the characters are siblings but then the guy is still into her anyway and it's framed as being romantic but then the exact same thing happens later where it's a sign of degeneracy. The writer had some weird fetishes is all I'm saying.

Supernatural in its 14th season is still their 2nd best performer, and Arrow (also ending next season) is their top 5. The Arrowverse will continue in some form through its many spinoffs, whereas the only remaining occult offerings of the CW are Legashit and Charred, both of which fail to reach the audiences Supernatural does. There are two likely outcomes
>the CW scrambles to actually get a spinoff of Supernatural airing before the main series ends so they could maintain a sizeable portion of the viewership of their top 2 show
>they keep greenlighting dumb pitches or keep shoving Legashit and Charred down people's throats and their viewerships keep sinking
If they come up with a good spinoff, then I'm happy. If they don't and they keep declining, then my schadenfreude will be at an all-time high
