It's because The Office makes people feel like they can have meaningful, adventurous, fun lives with the monotonous 9 to 5 office wagecuck lifestyle many of them are stuck in. The reality that most of their lives are spent living worse than a feudal slave and the few relationships and memories they create are truly meaningless, is too difficult a pill to swallow. This show reaffirms their life decisions.

This is literally the only show my cousin watches. He literally watches it on repeat literally all the time. Every time I see or hear his TV, it's this show. It's so annoying to constantly hear that stupid opening song. How can anyone like a show so much that they constantly watch only the same thing on repeat. Several hours a day.
