the one about the Red Army was my favourite

Fuck Netflix

Surprisingly vulgar and violent

I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS SHOW ANONS PLEASE FRIENDS

I enjoyed the three robots short, bretty funny.

Attached: stop-watching-netflix.jpg (440x280, 26K)

no

Great voice acting as well. Also loved the ending. Such an original way for the world to of ended

Have sex

3 robots is pure kino, also PYRAMID FEMBOT GOD TIER WAIFU

The blue zima one was my favouite, though i didn't really care for the animation style. I would've preferred it if it had a style like soul sucker's.

btw is this our generation's Heavy Metal, anonfriends?

>blue zima
Most people agree thats the best one.

>Robot slave transcends into a nigger and then back into a robot slave

Woah..

AAAAAAH I'M SO LONELY AND HORNY GOD DAMMIT

So Lucky 13 was animation /live action hybrid, right?

No
Non are, exept Ice Age

Beyond the aquila rift is the best one, Hitler one was the worse

gratuitous sex and violence hold it back, but that's nothing compared to the brain-dead plots.
rewatched the animatrix afterward and poured one out for the state of writing in american animation

It's based on a bong milk ad.

>robots are perplexed by human behavior
>act just like humans
Outside of the female one it kind of bugged me how human the other 2 robots were and act surprised when they were learning about them.

Attached: 1539487986665.jpg (433x427, 86K)

In no particular order, the only good ones are
>Zima Blue
>Beyond the Aquila Rift
>Suits
>Three Robots
>Ice Age
Everything else ranges from okay to complete garbage.

I didn't finish it yet (up to fish episode rn), but I feel really conflicted on it so far. One one hand, the visuals on some of these are so fucking good (The Witness being my favorite), but everything seems to be vulgar for the sake of vulgarity, and none of the stories so far have really got me. You just watch an episode and say at the end, "well, ok then".

I thought the Aquila Rift one had the best story so far. Suits was also pretty good, I thought for sure at the end it was going to zoom out and reveal a mobile defense game on the app-store or something.
Three robots had a lot of potential but the "lul global warming" angle makes no sense (as everything is still there, like burgers), and the cats having opposable thumbs was so lul so random, it felt cheap. Everything else was really, wow who cares.
So far, I'd give the series overall a 6/10, cuz I like the visuals, but it really feels like wasted potential.

If you like Blue Zima and aquila rift you might wanna check out other stuff by Alastair Reynolds, he's got a bunch of sci fi short stories and novels.

>HAHA LE EPIC T-BAG JOKE

Attached: 1539576204578.jpg (720x472, 43K)

This was originally planned as a Heavy Metal continuation. I would have enjoyed at least one fantasy vignette. Could still have had sci-fi elements (ancient advanced civilization, whatever).

I rate 8/10, bretty gud

most people agree that it's ehiter Blie zuma or Aquila

It was all right. Some episodes present pretty good settings and start interesting stories but end up anti-climatically. The episodes are way to short sometimes but other times they feel like they drag for ages.

Hey guys I'm the user drawing Greta fanart

I thought it was pretty good, certainly worth a watch. The uncanny valley CG turned me off in the episodes that tried so hard to emulate humans. The Witness had the best animation, Zima Blue's story was great, Helping Hand reminded me of Gravity. As much as I liked the setting of Shape-shifters, it fucking sucked. Good hunting was one of the only episodes with bad voice acting, and its pacing was the worst out of the whole series, but the steampunk direction it went in was a breath of fresh air. The dump was a massive waste of my time, the monster didn't even have a cool design. The episode about ghost fish or whatever is by far the worst episode, I'd honestly like someone to argue a case in defense of it.

animation on Secret War worked really well for me. animation on Tequila Drift was pretty uncanny though and choppy at some points.

What about the robot heist one?
That's the one I like the most and the only one people always skips
Am I a pleb?

Fish Night was good because the zoomer got executed for littering

Secret War was stylized just enough to make it work. The characterization in Sonnie's Edge was a bit more obvious, and trying to get 'more human' than that makes me question reality.

I'd like a movie or tv show to be released, or even just a short film, where the whole thing is CGI but nobody is told. Just to see if it could fool anybody.

Blindspot's character design and writing made it the perfect adult Saturday-morning-cartoon in my mind. Nothing subtle about anything in it, but I'd like to see a continuation of the story or another mission completely unconnected to the heist, monster-of-the-week style

>tfw no based lucky 13 dropship

If you liked 3 Robots you are a nigger.

Zima Blue was the only good episode. Don't respond to me.

Attached: 1501998173931.jpg (500x433, 39K)

But Zima himself was a nigger and a robot.

3 reddits more like it. Terrible ep.

I tried getting into the Revelation Space universe, holy fuck is it massive

Yeah, it's kino

Attached: 1553553141263.jpg (700x494, 78K)

My favorite is The Witness.

After rewatching I noticed the woman tells the cops the murder happens across the street from Pink hotel she was at. When she sees the murder she ducks down from the window and you see the guy asleep on her bed for two seconds so the time loop happened because they had a one night stand but don’t remember each other and that’s why they are always in that hotel room witnessing the murder from that specific room.

I like that subtle shit you catch when you re watch.

Just read the novels.

The Witness was pretty garbage. Also hairy minge

the camera shakes everywere to hide the animation, it's a cheap trick that may work for a short, but it's a gimmick.
It gets stale fast.

About to take some L will I enjoy watching this while tripping?

>one night stands are the equivalent of murder
CUH RINGE

You will not get the realistic ones, you will trip nicely on everything else

cringe

enjoy aids faggot

The naked teenager chinese fox girl was best waifu in the whole show

Zima Blue was the best one by a significant margin.

The only ones that were bad (REALLY bad) are Shape Shifters, Alternate Histories and that Yogurt one (Sonny's Edge only escapes because 10/10 monster action). All the others were at the very least enjoyable.

All in all WAY better than most of the shit Netflix pumps out.

Anybody want WebMs from any of them?

Attached: I Want to Swim.webm (1600x900, 2.64M)

It definitely had motion capture. Why else would they display blacks accurately and have her all slacked jawed like that?

I could do with some fox girl

no

Aquila Rift was the only one that really stayed with me. 3 Robots and the one with the rookie and getting the microchip were Super Reddit-tier.

>Best waifu is a girl with a grunge that not once display any caring for you
>Instead of based Spider Greta that loves you and just want you to be happy, and want to be with the real you so badly but she thinks she's ugly and it's afraid

do some with Good Hunting besides the transformation scene at the end, I already have that

>btw is this our generation's Heavy Metal, anonfriends?

It definitely is. If I remember correctly, Fincher tried to get a new Heavy Metal movie off the ground for quite some time but an anthology movie consisting mostly of violent and provocative scifi material had box office poison written all over it. Years later enter the streaming era and now we have this.

Are people blind or something? Doesnt look that realistic.

Literally owned by George Soros with Barry and Michael on the board, as well as that one partial nigger female from his admin. What a shitshow of psychological warfare. Don’t let your children watch this if there happens to be any parents reading this; they’re programming them for some dark shit. Literally and figuratively.

Oh yeah, I'm doing some additional ones. Next one is here Just breaking them up into parts so the quality can remain high and close to full res. I'm also gonna break up the human-y part into some smaller bits that look nice.

3D animation is still animation

That's some 3D stuff in real world footage. The "world", the "scene" is either normal footage or using a green screen. That episode wasn't an "animation" just like The Matrix isn't an animation, even if it was 3D animation in it.

Got'cha.

Attached: Zima Blue - Simple Pleasures.webm (1200x600, 2.76M)

Finished watching it about an hour ago and from what I see most have the werewolf one at meh or cgi garbage. It did have some dated visuals, but a fun concept that could be built on. I disliked the ice age one the most. Topher Grace phoning it in when he's the king of phoning in performances is mind shattering.

cute

Secret War would make for a great mini series. Both the allies and axis teaming up against the creatures would make for a controversial yet fantastic premise.

hoooly shit you're retarded

Attached: witness2.jpg (1300x700, 260K)

no u

well played user. truce

I really like the fact that it wasn't the White Army or the ebil Nazis who summoned the ghouls because I expected that to be the case. Also love how the whole episode is perfectly logical and there wasn't even one moment where I rolled my eyes because of some dumb shit happening. When one of the men says they should go back and bring back the journal to the command, the commanding officer just tells him they'll kill them to cover up their past mistakes which is definitely what would actually happen.

why did the woman in space have to cut her arm off? could't she just flail her arms around to generate propulsion? also wouldn't removing her forearm piece compromise her whole suit despite using tourniquet?

A truly kino short

what else is the studio behind this segment known for?

I wish this one would've ended like the story.

The skin texture on the guy's back during the sex scene in Aquila Rift would've fooled me if I didn't already know it was CG.

If you flail your arms you're just gonna start spinning. And yes it would compromise the suit but not the helmet or the remaining oxygen. The fact is that despite space being cold there's no way to quickly lose temperature, which means that the whole arm bullshit is a fucking meme. She could have just gotten rid of her entire suit(bar the helmet) and threw piece by piece until she actually gets to the ship. But there's also the fact that throwing those small objects at a low speed wouldn't generate enough propulsion to actually get her to the ship on time.

The whole episode is dumb, starting from the fact that the space debris that big didn't outright ripped a hole through the ship after splitting her in two.

mainly animated stuff in korea.

for anyone who liked lucky13 go read frontlines.

“Good Hunting” looks like a Disney movie from the 90s but R-rated.

Attached: DDEDCF36-EECD-45DE-8E04-67A008736F0D.jpg (708x354, 29K)

would she actually have to throw pieces though or could she just use a throwing motion or really just any other body motion? could she just make small movements to generate even a little propulsion to get her moving and going slow could give her room for error to correct herself? the whole removing her suit aspect just seemd silly

>three robots
Dude climate change lmao

Just got done watching a handful of these.
>Secret War
>Zima Blue
>Lucky 13
>Blindside
>Ice Age
>Robots
Zima Blue was *technically* the best one, but I got more fun out of Ice Age and Robots (except the opposable-thumb cat thing at the end, which made it end on a sour note. I would've preferred it just end with the End being due to environmental catastrophe.) Blindside was bland and Secret War suffered from pacing issues - it just felt like they were trying to take off a plot plane with too short a runway. Lucky 13 was just hideously dull; the graphics were dry and the plot was actively leeching interest out of my skull, like it was just Call of Honor: Transport Pilot Edition.

>(((netflix)))

Attached: boobs laughing.jpg (673x680, 105K)

Body motion wouldn't work, she'd have to throw things as hard as possible and at the right angle which would probably be pretty hard to do in space since your orientation would be fucked and you'd probably be spinning around. In the particular case with the episode the force that propelled her away from the ship is much higher than the force she can generate when throwing anything, so most likely she'd just float away regardless of what she does.

The fact that she's not tethered is retarded, and I think that astronauts actually have some kind of propulsion engine that they can use if this ever happens.

Three robots was nothing more than reddit humor and modern talking points, you could get the same quality entertainment from watching any late night host for 15 minutes. everyone here that thinks it's anything but garbage needs to kys.

Attached: R8nH8.png (1149x495, 434K)

>Ice Age at D
>Lucky 13 at B
>Good Hunting at B
>The Secret War at S
What in tarnation? Good Hunting is easily an S, Secret War is a solid B (it's only exceptional attribute is the extreme graphical quality) and Ice Age was a very fun flick that felt like a condensed, light-hearted comedy. And Lucky 13 just sucked; you've got the world to design and you chose to go for Brown War Simulator 2019? C'mon.

>fish night A
garbage taste

ice age was indian in the cupboard with better graphics
lucky13 is only a tiny piece of a larger book series that has a much broader space opera story about aliens vs. humans.

They could’ve chosen so many different slices of that book series to draw from, then. Every scene was some variation of gray, dismal War Planet or sterilized hanger-bay, and ultimately the plot was the ship’s computer system was sentient and helped the pilot out. It was telegraphed the moment they showed scenes through the ship’s cameras while talking about how, “ships have personalities.” They could’ve done so much better, and if that’s the most vibrant and fascinating part of that book series than I just don’t know what to say.

And yeah, Ice Age has been done before. It wasn’t a complicated plot, but it was told well and it was told competently. They wanted a whimsical little short with a splash of light-hearted fantasy and they *nailed it.* The couple were funny and the Fridge was explained exactly as it needed to.

Good hunting gets bumped down significantly due to changing the plot from mystical eastern monster hunting, to #metoo steampunk edition. The retardedly pure evil english fat guy was the icing on the cake, why would you make your rape slave a super strong cyborg with no method of controlling her, what did he expect was going to fucking happen?

Ice Age was so bland it was embarrassing, they did nothing interesting with the premise, I was waiting for something interesting to happen, maybe with the mini-mammoth they buried in the potted plant, but it never did. Unsurprisingly they still managed to find a way to force a bland "war is bad guyz" theme in there.

Secret war deserves a spot at the top for being the only short to have an entertaining story, great animation, great action, and not attempt some trite 2deep4u bullshit or social message.

>War is bad, guys
They were playing it up for laughs, user. The nukes were falling and people were screaming and the focus was on the husband getting a radiation tan while the wife quipped. It wasn’t framed as a tragic event at all.

>Good Hunting went from mystical to some MeToo
It wasn’t MeToo, it was allegory for Europe’s rape of the Orient. The Huli Jing was China’s history and culture literally getting FUCKED by decadent Westerners who got off on how exotic it was. The Huli Jing recovering her identity at the loss of her old body was meant to say how China (or the Orient in general) was able to use the machines of the foreigner while retaining their native identity; she’s still Huli Jing, and the West cannot take that from her.

lol wtf

>I was waiting for something interesting to happen
you mean like how the freezer still 'worked' after he unplugged it and without all the ice the little world would evolve in a different way?

the best part of this short is the jiggle physics. fucking amazing.

>They were playing it up for laughs, user.
Fair enough, my primary point about it being bland and purposeless still stands. I also personally didn't enjoy the humor.

>It wasn’t MeToo, it was allegory for Europe’s rape of the Orient
That's a good take on it, but you would have to be insane to think that a story like that released in the current climate isn't going to be taken by almost everyone who watches it as a metoo statement, and the writers know that. at the very least it was a secondary consideration during development. I would be shocked if even 10% of viewers got the historical allegory out of it that you did.

I thought life in the freezer continued BECAUSE he unplugged it, Temperatures dropped, ice melted, resulting in a hot humid climate enabling life to start all over again.

I've seen dozens of these and I'm convinced I'm the only one who liked Sucker of Souls. I can understand since it was different from the other ones. It was just horror and had no sci-fi or deep meaning.

I don't know how they'd do it but I need Aquila Rift to be an actual series.

She's equally fuckable in all her forms

I watched 5 or 6 of them and the only one I’ve really enjoyed thus far was Blue Zima. The one with the Russians fighting demons was decent, but didn’t have much of a narrative and just felt like an extended video game cutscene. I was absolutely loving Good Hunting for the first part where it felt like The Witcher in China, but it lost me in the second half with all the cyberpunk stuff.

All of the other ones I watched were a bit to edgy or unfunny for my liking. The series as a whole had a bit of a problem with trying to be dark and edgy.

Ice age was absolutely terrible. It was the exact same schtick done by the Simpsons, Futurama, South Park and Rick and Morty, but done worse than all of those. Also, it was probably the worst possible choice to use live action for.

Three Robots was pretty fucking bad for me, but I don’t care for that kind of “cats with thumbs rule the world! Cats might detonate if you stop petting them!” style of humour.

I unironically liked it, probably my second favorite after Zima Blue.

>Ice age was absolutely terrible. It was the exact same schtick done by the Simpsons, Futurama, South Park and Rick and Morty,
6/10 bait

Why everybody likes zima blue that much? It seems like an Osho thing
It is based in a twilight zone episode, user, all of them

Love death + robots is great but they should work in the scripts, even the best are ok.
They should try some bradbury or clarke

Just read Revelation Space, and if you like that you can continue.

>bradbury
That wouldn't be an improvement.

I haven’t seen the twilight zone episode, but I’ve seen all the parodies and this was by far the worst one. Not funny. Not insightful in anyway. Poorly acted and tonaly wrong.

Love, Death & Reboots

>Ice Age over Sonne's Edge
So people in this board didn't like the best one? Why's that?

Please be bait, Bradbury is hands down a better writer than Clarke.

Epic my dude

In my opinion...

Good:
- Beyond the Aquila Rift
- Good Hunting
- Shape-Shifters
- Zima Blue
- The Secret War

Okayish:
- Sonnie's Edge
- Three Robots

Meh:
- The Witness
- Suits
- Sucker of Souls
- Dump
- Helping Hand
- Lucky 13
- Ice Age

Pure shit:
- When the Yogurt Took Over
- Fish Night
- Blind Spot
- Alternate Histories

All in all, I think this TV show is really not as good as everyone is saying. It has some good episodes but most of them are average to complete shit.

Pic related was definitely my favorite.

Attached: Untitled-3.png (800x445, 170K)

I think Zima Blue and Beyond the Aquila Rift need to move up to a great category and move alternate histories to a tier below pure shit

In original short story it was aristocrat officer from Kolchak's white army who summoned them because they were on the brink of defeat. And it was logical, because bolshevics were atheists and were winning the civil war.

insult helping hand, right now, you fucking retard.

It's basically gravity with cool self sacrifice. it could move down a tier I guess.

Gravity was a awful fucking movie, but at least it made sense. Helping Hand is basically
>gonna send one person up
>but fuck giving them any tethers
>oh btw your hand has enough mass to move your body

Lmao when she threw it I was like, why not just throw the glove then dummy?

when you phrase it like that......
the last point is the only critical one.

I really really enjoyed it, I was surprised at the variety but glad it wasn't a case of quantity over quality. Hopefully they'll make more. I usually don't enter these threads because I tend to get bored to death whenever I see some autist with a tier list.

Clarke is a momumentally terrible writer who managed to produce what is probably the most grounded and well-researched hard sci-fi to date.

And?

It should have been called "Excessive and pointless nudity, edgy violence and random creatures"

Just finished it. I’m kinda glad I had a hunch and saved Good Hunting for last instead of doing it strictly in the order it gave me, which put Secret War last. Secret War was a good one, but it had kind of an abrupt end and I wouldn’t have liked ending the series on that note. I think Helping Hand would’ve been the best one to finish on, though, looking back.

I'm usually fine with blacked and gay coupoles that throws Yea Forums into shitfits.
I can't handle stupid morality lectures heavy handedly laid out like the watcher is 12 years old in a show for adults.

She reminds me of the hey wanna party cat girl

is it still allegory if it's the groups you're using for the allegory are the same parties they represent?

witness was great but the first one and second one were can't remember the names.
instead of a short character study of a fighter who doesn't want to sell out and wants to keep on fighting as a strong character who is female they undermined strong female by making her companons cry and whine constantly.
The plot twist at end would've had much more impact as well.

Three robuts was just "HAHA HUMANS ARE DUMB LOOK NUKES ARE BAD HA HA CATS ARE GOOD HA HA HUG TREES HA HA"

Ah, I misunderstood. I won't disagree with you. 3 robots is universally agreed to be shit. Ironically, the original short story of sonnie had none of the bullshit you mentioned, which I hated as well. Otherwise would have been a near perfect episode. You made it through the worst of it, anyway. Only other ones are Good Hunting and Shape Shifters, which suck for many other reasons too.

>tfw they don't fuck
feels bad

Attached: 1553748012744.png (363x349, 9K)

they should have gone full furfag pandering and got rid of every retarded subplot

He's right though. Ice age sucked, and most people on this site seem to agree.

im not mad they're bad im mad they could've been good with minor changes to script.
I really visually enjoyed the fuck out of witness, its visual kino other than the onamatopoetic visual effects.

Yes and Yea Forums is clearly full of retards. There isn't a single bad episode but some episodes were clearly too subtle on the meaning for Yea Forums.

Alternate Histories

Yeah, that was my first impression watching them, that a highschooler could edit the script and improve them twofold. So it goes.
The onomatopoeia stood out. Completely unnecessary and really cut the visual flow.
Half the episodes were drek. Just because you watch got and think its good doesn't mean everything is.

>HAHA HUMANS ARE DUMB ROBOTS WILL BE SMARTER HAHA RECYCLE YOUR TRASH literally laid out in a lecture

this is peak subtext for plebbitors

bet you're an MGS fan and think that is subtle in its plot and metaphor delivery.

as a pro 3d artist witness is groundbreaking.

Pfffhahahaha

it looks good but everything else was really boring.

This is what i am talking about >Le Hitler was bad meme tier
People completely missing the point. Apparently most of you do not poses the mental capacity to analyze even a simple science fiction story. Alternative Histories is exactly the opposite of ''Le Hitler was bad'' but you are too stupid to get it.

>people praising three reddits

Attached: 1547863161577.jpg (960x960, 82K)

Idiots.

I don't care what your opinion is on anything, ever. No one could possibly enjoy Alternative Histories.
Also, not an argument.

>people think The Witness was bad

Attached: 1300044776986.jpg (600x600, 35K)

>HUMANS ARE DUMB ROBOTS WILL BE SMARTER HAHA RECYCLE YOUR TRASH
If this is what you got from 3 robots i pity you.

>b-bbut you did not get it

ok Mr. Smartass explain how jews killing Hitler is not anti Hitler?

Attached: 1529115377998.png (382x390, 142K)

Suits was pure reddit

I know you think you're really clever with your stupid bait, but you're not. Kill yourself.

Attached: tankman.jpg (990x653, 259K)

Fish Night was one of my favorites, right after Zima Blue. I took the story to be entirely allegorical, where the fish represented the archetype of temptation—the devil resides in the desert, behind the promise of oases. The younger traveling salesman (see also: traveling salesman problem) can't resist the mesmerizing prospect of swimming in the sky. With pleasure almost always comes risk—be it drugs, adrenaline, sex, or power. Some get lost, and some swim too close to the sun; the allusion to the myth of Icarus is quite clear here. And finally, there is nothing we can do for those who choose the temptations of fate over the arduous road of longevity. The moment the son becomes intoxicated by the glowing, dream-like fish haunted me for a night. But that might just be me.

You are focusing on the small things while missing the underlying narrative. In Alternative Histories the creators explore ''the fate paradox''. Hitler is just a painter but depending on the evolving events round him he can either perish or change to the complete opposite. If Hitler never fought in WW1 would he have become the man he did is what you should be asking yourself after watching this. Cause and effect. But you are stupid so you focus on the gags and the jokes.

I'll say it again. There is not a single bad episode in this anthology.

>If things happen differently, things happen differently.
Brainlets actually find this interesting.
You pretty much perfectly summarized why I liked that episode. It's definitely the odd one out episode, very little scifi, very much a fable. Good character interactions, beautiful animation, and, of course, metaphorical forbidden desire.

Idiot. ''Things happen for a reason'' is what you should be getting.

Ignoring the fact that that is both a non sequitur to your original post, and just as shallow, how the genuine fuck did you get that out of that episode? Genuine retardation. If you're going to reply again, please provide a timestamp, and a reason for your choice. I must have missed between the part where hitler beat up a jewish kid and hitler got encased in jello.

Drawfag here, glad you like it!
Any suggestions for more or for other shorts?

>tfw you will never fuck a lovecraft tier looking ayy lmao

feels bad imagine it felt better than having sex with a real woman also imagine those ayy lmao exist they would be perfect for us incels.

Attached: 1542303378725.jpg (480x270, 51K)

three robots and ice age were among the worst

Idiot.

see
if you wanna keep it lovey dovy, do something like he gets space flu, so she puts him in a cocoon or something. else, make it scarier. someone new at the station attacks tom, vicious murderspider shows up. or tom is wandering around the station and she looms out of the gloom, and he's totally nonchalant.

>when the ESL doesn't have an argue.
Moronic retarded inbred shit-for-brains imbecile.

yea do some webms from the fucking in Aquila Rift please.

I like the cocoon one, nice

not quite there yet but probably in the next decade or so

this is the only ranking i've seen that i actually agree with. Sonnie's edge universe would be perfect for a video game

One of the other spiders at the station takes a liking to Tom and Great rips her to pieces.

What is there to argue? I spelled it out for you but you are too stupid to get it. Subhuman cockroach.

I can't believe the west brought modern civilization to China how fucking dare they

Things happen for a reason is Newton's Third Law, not a compelling plot.

when you thought nothing could be worse than tumblr noses.

Zima Blue is one of the best, but i dont think thats a good thing

Attached: greta.webm (1920x1080, 2.45M)

>Yea Forums bitches about all the girl pawah bullshit
>every other blogger out there bitches about all the problematic and mysoginistic themes
Which one is it you fucking shits?

your shitpost has more subtext than 3robots.

It was literally a proof of concept
It's whole purpose is to look cool to trick an executive to order a full season of it, nothing else

I don't think how the audience takes the scene should matter at all in determining if the short/movie is good or not. Audiences thought the Bird Box was a good movie, and that was a cinematic trash fire with tacky visuals and pathetic storytelling. I hate to sound like a fart smeller here, but the audience *are* idiots and they *will* overlook things.

I'm not sure, but I'd argue it is; the British in Good Hunting might be the same British that raped the Orient for silver and tea, but Huli Jing wasn't *just* Chinese; the Fox Spirit is unusual in that it's prominent in EVERY East Asian myth, and largely the same way; Kumiho in Korea, Kitsune in Japan, Huli Jing in China. They might lean more into the "trickster" side or the "murderous bitch" side depending on the culture, but by and large it's a foxy lady with shapeshifting powers and a multitude of tails. This makes me see Huli Jing as not *just* a Chinese character, but an Oriental character in general - which fits brilliantly, don't you think? Japan industrialized, Korea industrialized, China industrialized. All three of them lost a bit of something that will never come back, but they were able to save the "spirit" of the thing despite the West's best efforts.

they could make a WH40k short in season 2 BUT we both know the cock suckers at GW will not agree.

I just watched the space farming one and the cats v Dracula one, have seen all the ones before it, the animation is a little jerky sometimes but the style is good, the writing could use a lot of work as it is sometimes very heavy handed (like in the first episode) or kinda cliched/formulaic (space farming, robot tourists), overall still having a lot of fun with it, kinda reminds me of heavy metal or the animatrix crossed with early sci fi anthology literature

They're already making it;
youtube.com/watch?v=g-MteECxZUY
youtube.com/watch?v=mfGPMJ8A0QY
youtube.com/watch?v=CMGRa4_UjE4

This one is cool but that would clash with another one I sketched yesterday, in which Thom asks how many other spiders there are because he saw like 4-5 other ships, and Greta ,sadly ,says she's the only one

I mean they could but both you and me know it would be SJW shit.

If Netflix were to pick up any of the eps and make a series, which one would you watch?

Attached: love-death-and-robots-sonnies-edge-screen-hub-4.png (1200x607, 801K)

Suits would be the top pick

Suits

Witness because while every episode would be the same I could watch that hairy animated vagina all day long

Warhammer is hyper edge 2 clown faggotry and only retards like it

If they did, they would have to make a story arc where all the farmer mechs combine to fight the Mother/Queen.

Those silly boob physics tho

And by combine I mean put their salvaged parts together to make a Farmerzord.

ur mum lol

suits
beyond the rift

ice age was comfy

The insectoid executives at Netflix have tasked you with creating a Short for Season 2, what do you make?
>Hard Mode: Two sentences or less
>Nightmare Mode: Three Symbols at Start of Short

Attached: 1377175468556.png (560x683, 217K)

I have millions of ideas
>CocaCola becomes sentient
>Icecream becomes sentient
>Eyes becomes sentient
>Ligth becomes sentient
>Electricity becomes sentient
>Paper becomes sentient
>USB cables becomes sentient
>Air becomes sentient
>Fans becomes sentient
>Math becomes sentient, DC doesn't sue
>Fear becomes sentient
>Pepsi becomes sentient
>Hunger becomes sentient
>This thread becomes sentient

Yes.

Give this man money and a team.

Cyberpunk school shooer

In a postapocalyptric future mankind has been decimated by an army of robots designed as sex dolls but who went berzerk and fucked most of the earth's population to death. My story follows one brave blue-eyed blonde bigtitty slut who reckons she's a sufficiently rampant hoe to out-fuck every robot that tries to stop her getting to the AI overmind controlling the robots so she can overload it with the force and passion of her lovemaking and save the world.

Symbols
>robot face
>girl symbol with the circle and the cross
>eggplant like on snapchat

I just want a Shadowrun, user. Gimme an Ork, and Elf, a Troll and a Human going through the Meet-Up, the Legwork, the Run and the payout.

>propulsion
user...
It's a vacuum. Just flailing around won't move her.

Those aren't really even that bad requirements considering that the first season as full of episodes that didn't have ANY story behind them, just a setting and some characters.

I can just put a symbol of moon at the start and make it about a moon made of cheese. Then there rats living on it, watching earth. Nothing else has to make any sense and that is why this show was pretty dull to be honest. It's pretty but also pretty boring.

People are not allowed to die.

huh? elaborate pls

SCP did it already, next.

Fock off with your tranny shit.

a futuristic heist movie where the crew barely manages to steal the loot without ever being seen.

>disk
>open eye
>clock

you don't understand physics.

here's your (You)

3 robots reddit tier but i can accept it on the list

>Nightmare Mode:
Skull with pigtails, glazed doughnut, gas cloud.

lucky 13 was a small story of a human with machine sympathy in an universe that was a backdrop.

Lucky 13 is not understandable to no npc you gotta be into machinery to understand that kino.

It's like one of those things women dont understand except the woman is you.

I don't get Zima Blue

it was simple
>man goes to ends of universe to search the meaning of life
>man was actually a woke AI and it discovered meaning of life was just enjoying the simple things

SCP dumped that tranny shit like the filthy dishwater it was months ago, it’s fine now.

Helping hand is too silly
Simple logic says that a fucking (space) rope is obligatory. Like use a gloves to touch something that is hot or use shoes to walk on broken glass...

You can drop on the floor and make a push up be using the floor as anchor.
If you are underwater and going up, when you swim you are basically using water as anchor to push it down and propel yourself. You are in a way "climbing" the water.
There is nothing to anchor yourself in vaccum.

it's basically a10aboos in space theres not much to it

secret war was great.
If a 10 minute short can handle movie monsters correctly why cant the rest of the retarded industry.

I can't imagine a suits series. It is literally a horde survival multiplayer videogame. Might as well make an animated series of Team Fortress. I can understand wanting to play that scenario but not watch it.

It was way too long for what it was. There was nothing deep going on, it was all flash.

it all returns to nothing

its not real world footage/ some of it may have been rotoscopped you dumb nigger

SCP is literally from /x/ you disgusting redditor. Go back to where you came from.

Glacial, by Alastair Reynolds. Zima Blue and Beyond the Aquila Rift are both undeniably top-tier episodes, so we've already proven that Alastair Reynold's writing works on the big screen, and Glacial is my favourite of his short stories. The only "problem" is that it's set in the Revelation Space universe, which means you have to do concept art for light huggers, the conjoiners, and so on. I’m sure that wouldn’t be a problem, though.

Kino, all of it

Their best short was a rip off The Cage, so let's see...what's something easy I can rip...ok
>Alien visits Earth for the first time
>"Wow, how strange looking what is it, etc"
>oooommmmgggg it's human dna?!?!?
>"Alien" is the first human that went warp speed, its dna was altered in the process and now he has returned.
Oh no, wait, also it should be a female pilot so I can say its progressive and also have the alien have big ol tiddies in her new form.
>Grey Alien Head /Rocket / Human Stick Person
thank you that will be $14,000 please.
