one of those shows where they keep changing showrunners. It will be canceled next year after season 3

I was baffled by the end of season 1 by the "I am Odin!!!" reveal. Like was this supposed to be a surprise or something?

There's only one God, and he doesn't dress like that.

Neil Gaiman is the problem: good writer for comics and novels, terrible for movies and tv series.

No more Bryan Fuller

There slow pace of the show. Should be 20 hour per season not 10.

Pacing and deviations

Changing the assassination in S2E1.
What the fuck were they thinking.

Nobody has Starz. If the exact same show was on HBO it would be raved about. Guaranteed.

So I've only read the book. What would I think of this show?

they were already filling it out as it was. source material is short

the wife got a significantly bigger role, i dont like it

Don't do this, it creates mustard gas.

They’re about to be cancelled and no laketown yet. They should have had extended laketown and not added too much shit about Laura. I don’t mind an extra scene or an additional episode but ffs postmortem she’s literally getting as much screentime as Shadow

what? i saw those moves on naruto

Fucking crystals man.

Thanks for the sweet ass yo-yo tricks guide.

Did he write and direct the hardcore muslim anal sex scene?

I would definitively read his comic version if he kept it in Miracleman The Golden Age style

What happened to Easter on Season 2?
Why isn't she joining the war and what happened to her?

Actress left with fuller

S2 is better than S1. They toned down the SJW by a great deal, not completely though. I enjoy watching S2.

season 2 has been terrible so far.

Why didn't they just get a new actor for Easter? The reason why she's missing is so dumb

I really liked season 1 save some cringy parts but the scenery and dialogue was good + Crispin Glover, but this season seems unsalvageable; what the fuck happened?

different show runner
who already left and a new one has been chosen for season 3

Glover's dialogue gets me, he was so good in the first season. Stole every scene he was in, and now he's just...boring. Doesn't feel like a god/threat what so ever. Just guy in a suit in a bunker that doesn't seem to know what he is doing (and I know the spoilers).

Such a shame really; there was a lot of potential. New Media seems dull, lack of Easter and the Old Media likewise. All of it feels like a massive bore to go through now. Can a show get another season even if it's already been renewed?

you are gonna have to try a little bit harder than that, LARPer

he's gay so of course

that was in the book as well, and, hilariously enough, the best part of it too, along with the other side stories about gods not connected to the main narrative

yeah but why they didn't recast her like Media?

I feel the same way, all the gravitas from the new gods seems to have been taken away. They just don't seem all that powerful or dangerous anymore. All that mysticism and wonder and mystery isn't there, and everyone is just bumbling around in pointless filler episodes.

I'm not sure. I read somewhere that Gaiman very particular about his lore/back story. Gods don't just change human form for no reason (well aside from shapeshifters). They did go through a lot of filler and justification to ensure they recasting a new media.
Perhaps they didn't want to go through the effort for Easter, and perhaps they don't want changing forms to be easy at all. Zoraya just died permanently, and it's implied they only change forms after they die. Media is a bit different since she chose to change, but it was a considerable effort on her part.

This. Whenever he get's fired from a show the show goes south.

Ian McShane can only play disgruntled shady elderly ladies.

Literal faghag.

True. I loved him in V for Vendetta.

Maybe for like Shadow

Having read the book I can safely say that the concept is good but would overall make a bad show, which seems to be the case

>AM I A GOD
Okay this is epic.

Wait, does he actually work on the scripts or something? What exactly is his involvement in this?

I think the problem is that he's too lenient with the people adapting his works.

Good Omens is probably going to be a shitshow as well.

>blackwash one of the kids
>blackwash famin
>seemingly gender bend polution

Goodness me.

Not even going to bother with Good Omens. I can't believe the SJWs fall for it. All the main roles have already been cast, it's all old white men just like the book, but here, have some lip service to diversity to calm your sugartits, pleb.

columbo as odin, to begin with.

All I know is there was a black woman that became huge and ate a man with her vagina. Unfortunately she was black tho.

he's literally quoting capeshit you retard

>This is the adaptation I have always wanted to do
>Leaves after the first season
What did Fuller mean by this?
