Is this the greatest capeshit movie of all time?
Is this the greatest capeshit movie of all time?
the sex scenes ruined the pacing of the movie.
If you're a super hero you don't waste your precious bodily fluids.
No, Superman 1978 is
yes
its pretty fucking good
the rape scene ruins a otherwise kino experience
This was the most kino moment in capeshit history
Lmao fuck no.
>1978
anything made before the 80`s is unwatchable except to tryhards
Nigger, if I was a superhero I would be openly sexist, prioritising saving dansels in distress, and drowning in pussy.
I want zoomers to leave

Have sex
Nah, nolan's dark knight is. Watchmen is probably the best after that though.
>say it
>SAY IT
what did he want him to say?
Yes. Even my friends who have no idea superheroes even exist found it an awesome movie.
The only capeshit movie series that is somewhat good are the X-men.
But that could be nostalgia from my childhood.
There's no such thing as capeshit. They're all capekino.
Nope. It's annoying though. Watchmen is arguably the greatest comic book of all time. That applies to all comics, not just superhero shit. It's so well written and thought out that it's fucking insane only two guys wrote it. There are entire stories going on in the background of panels, there's a different trick being used on almost every page. It's a proper masterpiece.
The film just isn't that. Snyder copied the choreography and dialogue almost verbatim from the comic, down to emulating the shots at points. But it just doesn't quite work. There's a shit-ton of stuff he missed or just wasn't translatable (like the symmetrical issue) but he doesn't replace it with anything. There's also bits where I think Snyder had a very different reading of the characters than I or most people did. I mean the point is that all the superheroes are pathetic, mentally deranged sociopaths. But Snyder's camera seems to love them. He gives the violence this weird fetishistic quality that's absent in the comic. In the comic the violence is mostly realistic and quite off-putting. Meanwhile Snyder has the characters doing Kung-Fu every other scene.
It's a problem because it might be a really wrong-headed adaptation made by a fairly visually talented manchild, but it does go further than any other superhero film goes. It actually asks the questions about the need and the psychology of superheroes. Unfortunately it just doesn't work with Snyder's hand - almost everything good about the film is in the book and almost everything bad is unique to the film. Sadly the Dark Knight is still the best capeshit because despite some problems it does actually function as a movie. Snyder's Watchmen is an obnoxious, expensive fan film.
That being said the bit with Dr Manhattan on Mars is great and the opening title sequence is fantastic.
The aesthetics utterly sucked.
film is great, maybe the best capeshit. yeah there are a few changes from the comic which is a masterpiece as well, but so what?
Watchmen = USA
Thinking they are not bound to the rules and determine what constitutes right and wrong in other countries, even sending troops like in Vietnam. But who watches the watchmen? No one watches the US and they are free to exploit their powers however (((they))) feel is correct.
what was the point of the kid and the comic book in the Ultimate Edition?
