Ok

Good movie

cheers

In a time of 'the vvitch' and 'they look like people', is jacobs ladder ready for a comeback?

10/10 movie for me. I don't give a fuck what people say about the ending. The movie holds up well and is genuinely terrifying, especially if you struggle with mental illness.

Dream on.

It's getting a remake this year.

I still need to watch it.

Jacob's Ladder is one of my favorite horror films along with Lake Mungo

soul

how scary is this movie

What's the point of that? The older this movie gets the more disturbing it comes off.

>it's all a dying dream
I've read Ed, Edd & Eddy fan theories better than this
Bad movie.

My mother let me watch it, alone, when I was 9. I now masturbate with my own shit. Interpret that how you want.

>Dream on
Gives me chills to this day. Still one of the most legitimately scary movies I've ever seen

Cause the entire movie is peddling this plot about the MK Ultra experimentation on unwilling troops and then it turns out he just died in the war and he isn't actually insane, but then in the credits they mention about the people who were exposed to mental control techniques in Vietnam again, though we know that's not what happened in the movie. It doesn't quite know what it wants to be.

nobody asked you, sweaty.

Great movie up until the end. What a fucking terrible ending.

I felt like I was watching the scary door with that stupid fucking ass twist.

Literally the stuff of nightmares

The ending resonates with me because I was in intensive care in a coma for 7 weeks and came close to dying. I had the most fucked up evil nightmares and hallucinations in that hospital that I've started writing short stories about all of them.

One of my favorite horror movies. The scene where hes rushed through the silent hill esque hospital and then they have him strapped to a chair.
>where am I
>you're dead
>no im not
>then where are you

so your dreamed during the coma?

Felt like a modern take on Lovecraft, a persons descent into madness. The ending should have been him dying in the present with a smile on his face. Otherwise it's one of the most atmospheric Horror movies ever made. And I LOVE seeing Elizabeth Pena being fucked by a winged demon. One of my earliest faps!!!FACT!!!

The ending resonates with because I died in Vietnam

Two scariest scenes to me as a kid, when the nurses hat falls off and she has that horn on her head, and when the car tries to run him over and there's that fucked up figure in the rear window.

She died you know, in 2014, also I wacked it to her too in Down and Out in Beverly Hills.

You just freaked me out dear god this movie was relentless.

Reading the trivia section on IMDB, it says the first test audiences felt the movie was so "overwhelming" that they went and cut 20 minutes of the most horrific stuff out of the final version of the film.
