Which one will be remembered as Jordan Peele's masterpiece?

I mean, dude is only 40. I would say he's got a couple more attempts.

People will probably remember Get Out more because it won an Oscar and also the political message is pretty clear and unambiguous. Us, from what I've heard, seems to be more of jumbled mess in terms of themes and ideas

His third movie: "Where Abouts?" A black couple find themselves in an unexplained time portal that leads them to early 1800's Georgia. They have to hide and fight back against a creepy plantation staff that intend to torture their slaves rather than work them.

Get Out.
It's worth a watch.

shouldnt his third movie be called GET US OUT

>>>an ideal future
GET OUT
>seen as an example of the start of race neutrality and commonality
US
>an extension of black artists making unconventionally conventional work

Both of them will be forgotten once the political hysteria dies out. These movies don't meet the requirements for longevity like a true classic would.

Not white enough for you?

>Both of them will be forgotten once the political hysteria dies out.
This. Do we remember all blaxploitation movies from 70s? I don't think so. These SJW-pandering movies will be worthless once political trends change again.

Get Out. Us had the potential to be better than Get Out in the first thirty minutes or so, but after that it just blew itself the closer it was headed for the ending.

Both. He directed the #1 and #2 best horror films of all time. Both are modern classics.

He'll make more and more until he dominates the entire top 10 list

>People will probably remember Get Out more because it won an Oscar
>thinking Us won't win awards too

Get Out for sure.

I hope after Us (even though it was definitely not as good as Get Out) he gets more financial freedom to make a better film. He was still operating on a budget of 20 mil and he blew it out of the water on the first weekend. More than anything though he needs to take his time making a better movie. I was hyped to the moon for "Us" and walked away a little disappointed. bigger budget may allow for the freedom to reshoot scenes / better editing / etc.

Lupita is almost guaranteed to get a nomination.

She deserves it.

Get Out.

Us is a mixed bag. I guess I was too brainlet to understand the symbolism or the commentary. What's with the clone? A failed government experiment? Aliens? How are they connected?

It was a way to try and control people using there clone, but something happened and it got scrapped. I think they said it was just other people doing it, but theres definetely supernatural higher powers at work. A lot of questions left unanswered.

the one with the most colored people of color

>Jordan Peele
>remembered

You may select one and only one.

he will be remembered as literally who?

He’s trying to express The Truth.

All those who have seen what they’ve seen and know what they know.. know our nature of reality “harbours” something.

Get Out wasn't anything special but US was shit so I'd say Get Out will be remembered better.

Obviously Get Out. It's full of memes. Us isn't.

It should be Get Out Us about black people being possessed by evil white spirits.

Unless he Shyamalans himself over his next couple films, he has a long career ahead of him.

Get Out will because it’s politically relevant but Us was the better made film by far

Us was full of plotholes and was dumb. Get Out was coherent

>inb4 i was too dumb to “get it”

Get Out. Us is good but didn't have the big impact that Get Out had when released

>I dindu nuffin: now a horror classic
