i watch all my kinos on my laptop and with headphones

taytay preserve me

First of all stop posting pictures of my gf.
Second of all a good pair of headphones can mimic 5.1 pretty well.

>i bet he carries a GlmaoCK

I don't know how people are okay watching kino in anything less than 5.1, or at least a decent 2.1 setup. But the few kinostation threads we've had on Yea Forums generally show a bunch of people sitting in front of a computer with some shitty speakers - at best.

even the highest quality televisions have shit speakers

same brah

>he doesn't watch Kino on the big tv in the living room with headphones plugged in

>he thinks he has more than 2 ears
>implying headphones aren't the optimal way to listen to everything

it's a big screen if it's right in front of your face desu

When you ask her if her pussy doesn't stink?

>doesn't use proper sitting posture for the entire movie in a chair that replicates the theater experience

>the theater experience

You the mean the experience where you have to listen to a bunch of fat people slurp soda and munch on popcorn, or people shouting or laughing obnoxiously?

remember when she lusted after Jake Jewenhalls BIG JEWISH COCK and then got butthurt when he didn't come to her birthday party? fun times

Considering audio engineers usually mix with headphones on, it's a good idea to where them when watching. You pick up more subtleties anyway as long as you have a decent pair.

what are some decent headphones that have no spiders in them?

Movies are not mixed with headphones on. They use monitors in multichannel configurations since every movie is now mixed in at least 5.1, and anything mainstream dolby atmos.

>thinking it makes a lick of difference

Downmixing to stereo it on a good pair of headphones definitely allows you to hear more subtle highs. Whereas 5.1 is really more about atmosphere and PHAT BASS YO.

I love seeing professional DJs using ear buds now days.

I worked at a small studio and made a few short animated ads for a local theater and each one was mixed by a professional engineer with headphones on (I sat with him each session since I was curious about audio and wanted to learn how it was done). They were ran both on TV and in the theater itself. I'm sure bigger productions are different but that's just my experience.

untill im rich enough to install full size cinema to my house there is no better alternative than watching anything on laptop in the coziest spot in your home

Ads are generally stereo, movies generally aren't. He wasn't mixing surround with some headphones.

Doesn't every tv have 5.1/7.1 nowadays?

Get the logitec but not the cheap $60 pair

Nah, not falling for the dialogue too quiet action too loud jew. Better to just not watch those movies at all.

>Doesn't every tv have 5.1/7.1 nowadays?

since 1999 or your a poorfag or mentally retarded

not everybody has room for 5.1 speakers and using a sub-woofer in a shitty apartment is always a problem. A soundbar or headphones is fine.

My headphones are great

Built in 5.1 is in no way standard or even especially common. But you honestly don't need 5.1, it's more hassle and expense than it's worth.

2.1/3.1 setups get you most of the effect and are much easier

>$160 SUPER TACTICAL HORSESHIT THAT MAKES YOU SUPER GOOD AT CS:GO

Buy some good cans, and get a seperate mic. I have one in my monitor, pretty good quality too.

Stop watching shit on your laptop in 720p or even 1080p it's ancient

I have a 13.2 surround sound setup paired with my 77" 4K OLED TV.
I do watch kino/play vidya with headphones sometimes and the effect is also amazing, if you use some sort of HRTF method or virtual surround method like Dolby Atmos for Headphones or DTS Headphone:X.
>mfw watching Taylor Swift's reputation Stadium Tour in glorious 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos 13.2 surround sound

I watch everything with subtitles on even though I'm not hearing impaired.

Ofcom did a study in the UK and found that 80% of people who use subtitles don't have any hearing impairments, I'm one of them.

Why do I never see you on Yea Forums anymore? :(

It's hard to stop once you start.
