I read that this actually took itself pretty seriously and just came off as weird instead of having some good comedy elements from its ridiculous title and premise.

The Hamiltons never gets mentioned on Yea Forums. It was one of the first afterdark horrorfest flicks. I don't remember much about it, though. 2006 is a blur to me movie-wise. Watch at your own peril (it could be a shitty movie).

A funny thing about the movies is that each one is about 50% faithful to the book but each is a different 50% so if you spliced the 2 salems lot movies together you would get a pretty accurate adaptation.

Vampire the masquerade bloodlines 2. The original was amazing but because of Activision being a shit company made the original development team go bankrupt. Now decades later we are gettigna sequel made by the company that made Killingfloor 2 which is a full on FPS with no RPG but is published by paradox which made a ton of good RPGs.

I would say 35% chance of it being good and 3% chance of it living up to the original.
