Which half of the 28 days later was better? would it been better just to stay human vs zombies?

Is this a serious question? The movie falls off a cliff in the third act like virtually all of Boyle’s movies.

Yes. The army bit was mostly boring or at least not as interesting. We get it, people are the real monster etc..

the first one
yes

Every zombie movie or show starts to suck when it becomes humans vs. humans because the writers' idea of how people would behave in apocalyptic conditions feels unrealistic and the events that drive conflict seem shoehorned.

Clearly the first act

Just realised its a three act movie.

First act is hairy beard man alone

Second is magic power of friendship

Third is all men are bad, and want sex and eat rotten eggs. Some anti-establishment bullshit thrown in. Also choosing the black girl over the white loli was where i broke immersion. Im not fucking kidding.

how is weeks?

The Stand did it well, though there were never zombies to begin with
Shit after the intro

kinda like 28 days later. Good beginning. mediocre after that
also 28 months when?

>zombies

>you alright bob, you heard about those zombies on the morning news
*BANG*
>Hi Margaret, just heard the water supplies been contaminated by those damn undead
*BANG*
>You alright there Jimmy, sorry to hear your parents tried to claw your face off
*BANG*

Seriously though in a real apocalypse you'd be so happy to see another uninfected human you'd literally hug them and cry. The Walking Dead is the greatest offender for contrived bullshit

>Just realised its a three act movie

99% of films are. There are a few exceptions like Full Metal Jacket (2, or 4) and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (5).

>Shit after the intro
Remarkably shitty, remarkably fast. It blows my mind how they could start it off so well and it just falls apart into garbage.

Awful. 2/10

Technically it’s better than Days. It suffers because of a few plot contrivances and characters making stupid decisions. But it’s a more than solid thriller.

Weeks received a better critical reception than Days.

I didnt clarify my point, im an idiot.

Basically meant the 3 acts are like 3 seperate films. The tone shifts in a 180, from a eeiry, agrophobic mystery to a showdown with a mustache twirling villian

Garland said in 2017 that a third was in the works. In 2018 he said it was probably dead. It’s sad because he’d be the obvious candidate to direct.

Well they're a bunch of fairies for having such trash tastes honestly.

rain compilation is kino
