So for anyone who actually watched this, was it actually any good? Was it actually edgy?
No it was gay and retarded. Also the girl was ugly
Idk. She cute. Just really really, very annoying.
It isn't that edgy. Most of the characters are just terrible people.
It's really not edgy, it just features character who want to be edgy and cool. Imo it starts off great, then kinda falls apart in the last 3 episodes, not completely, it just becomes very obvious.
/r9k/ gets a girlfriend the show
I liked it but Wayne does it a million times better
It’s not that great but Submarine (2010) did this concept better but with less edgy shit
It was actually very good
It’s not even edgy. The characters think they’re edgy but they’re just troubled teenagers. The plot even focuses on that. They go out of their way to say he isn’t actually a sociopath and she’s just rebelling because her stepdad is a creepy asshole.
The whole point of the show is to make fun of edgy teenagers...
Really make me think about what's the intelligence of the common Yea Forumsittor
modern males were a mistake
What kino is this?
Penny Dreadful
I couldn’t stand 5 minutes. More quality Netflix programming.
I thought it was alright.
This really.
It was quite sweet. The characters start with a juvenile nihilism and mature as they realise their feelings for each other against the backdrop of a pretty grim world. It's actually a pretty straight forward coming of age story told through a cynical lens that ends up being refreshingly romanticist. Really nice cinematography for British TV show too
