Can we get a disturbing movies thread?

What’s the most disturbing or extreme films you’ve ever seen Yea Forums, and why? It doesn’t matter the genre, looking for something to shake myself and I’m overly desensitized.

Failed to understand the symbolism

Killer Joe and snowtown

Shocking-wise would be Oldboy, I was only 14 that time.

A Serbian Film disgusted me, that baby fucking scene made me almost vomit.

Takashi Miike shit.
>Visitor Q
>Ichi the Killer [this one is top notch]

>mother
>disturbing
Maybe, if it weren't so unpalatably bland.

Mysterious Skin

Nah, from what I gathered it was an allegory for Mother Earth and God and his need to create, which ultimately destroys her.

Please watch The House That Jack built and don't watch the trailer first it gives away a lot of plot points. MAKE SURE to watch the unrated directors cut. It's easy to find.

I’ve seen Snowtown, but thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check it out.

All good films, haven’t seen Visitor Q yet though, heard it’s wild.

Check ‘em, thanks.

Thanks user, I’ll add it to my list.

something bland is very easy to palate
this makes no sense at all
empty criticism, retard-tier writing

It's too bland to eat, user. That can happen irl.
empty skull retard-tier comprehension and imagination

The Girl Next Door (2007)
The Lost (2006)
Red White & Blue
Cargo 200
Cold Fish

It is bs and poorly made for that purpose .

Was it intentionally comedic? The house being flooded with tremendously inconsiderate people gave me a lot of good laughs, then it was clearly muh allegory and I lost interest.

>That can happen irl.
No it literally can't. The "blander" a food is is, the less characterisable and less intense its flavour. The less notable or unique its texture. The less anything it is. You don't reach a point where food being uncharacterisably tasteless and/or lacking in interesting texture makes it impossible to palate. Don't mix metaphors. End of.

White person detected.

Go watch any video about anyone but white people talking about white people food and you will see them complain about how they can't eat it because there is no seasoning.
These videos get especially popular around thanksgiving when everyone else is complaining about poorly seasoned white people food.

What you're saying is more likely reflective of your own taste than it is some objective truth. If I dipped a spoon into a bowl of flour and water I'd spit it out. Not because it tasted "bad", but because it's a flavorless mush, much like Mother! was.
You're a fool to get so caught up in semantics as to miss the actual point of my post. Simple as.

problem child 2
the full monty
movie 43
Daniel – Der Zauberer
movie 43 (the UK cut)
blood dolls
head of the family
jellyfish eyes
naked avenger
wet hot farts - volume 7

how could you mention Miike and forget Audition?

Hardcore Henry 2

oh come on. serbian film was a laugh riot, not "disturbing"

>Just turn your brain off to my shitty mixed metaphors
No
Also, food metaphors are fucking stupid

>MAKE SURE to watch the unrated directors cut. It's easy to find.
the unrated cut literally hasn't even been released yet
how and where did you find it

The Killing of a Sacred Deer was the first movie in a long timethat managed to unnerve me while watching. Pure kino.
