What went wrong and right, respectively?
Camden Fisher
Jaxon Sanchez
Peele had all the talent, you could tell from their show.
All the good bits where from him, all the good ideas were from him, Key at best played the clown and mugged for the camera.
Colton Gutierrez
Key is too white. The time of white men is over.
Oliver King
The time of the orc has come
Cameron Morris
They're both half white
Jackson Cruz
Key is a better actor than he is. Peele though is obviously the better writer and director.
Samuel Gray
This peele was shit on mad tv no memorable sketches and the ones where he played a thug gangster them shits were cringy as fuck
Brandon Wood
I'm a racist white man and even I had a great number of chuckles at their sketch show. Those negros have some real entertainment value.
Charles Cook
Generic sketch show for the most part, with a handful of truly inspired sketches.
It only gained traction online where people would watch the decent sketches and ignore the shit filler.
Chappelle Show > In Living Color >> Key and Peele
Joseph Gutierrez
Key was always the stand-out on MAD TV, I cant think of much of what Peele did on there other than play Key's sidekick. When they got their own show though it was obvious Peele was the real talent all along. Key mostly just had a lot of energy but all his characters were kinda the same, Peele had way more range between the two of them.
Cameron Reyes
lol for the longest time I always thought Key was middle eastern or something like that
Christian Hill
Key's the better actor.
Luke Thomas
>marry old 40 year old hag in mid 20s
>she ages like milk as all women do
>be in 40s now, can't stand the thought of fucking +60 year old crone anymore
>"fuck it, you only live once" leave her for new pussy
>get divorce raped and have to pay over 30000 in alimony per month for the rest of your or her life
Xavier Garcia
They knew how to throw a ton of money at the sketches but they don't know how to end them and they explain the joke going in to the fucking sketch.
Caleb Stewart
>They knew how to throw a ton of money at the sketches
This. They would always have high production value shit that seemed more concerned with being like a movie than being funny. For a sketch show, that is strange.
Henry Jackson
>Chappelle Show
It's going to be a long, long time before it's ever dethroned and maybe never.
Measured sketch for sketch there are maybe three to four 'just okay' ones. A new show would have to be like three seasons or less of the funniest shit ever written.
Luke Miller
On top of that,
>comedy duo that made you famous ends
>partner wildly outshines you in fame and success
>your own star is dwindling
>ex wife still needs those payments
Dominic Green
Didn't white shame, white shamed.
Daniel Diaz
Feels bad, Key actually seems like a really nice guy. Definitely the more likeable of the two
Owen Mitchell
Hingle Mckrinkleberry
Sebastian Long
I think they just had to use the full budget allotted to them per season or something. The movie buff valet sketches are great and it's not like those broke the bank.
Joseph Lewis
This. And that counts a lot in the long run because Key learned to rely on his performance skills, which can honestly only take you so far along the road, while Peele was always writing, directing and producing. Stretch that for 10 years (from MadTV to the ending of Key and Peele) and you have two people with completely different skill sets, with Peele ending up with the necessary tools to fulfil the demands for entertainment created by black people that has grown in the past few years. Key on the other hand is still a performer, and an aging, ugly one at that.
Christopher Price
All y'all are saying key was the better actor, actually I think peele was better at that too tbqh
Isaac Clark
Can you let the man have something?
Ryder Ramirez
I'm a racist white man and Key & Peele was never good, painfully below average.
They even sucked in the first season of Fargo.
The Chappelle show, now that a good black man sketch show.
Ayden Thompson
Damn look at Peele's juicy lips
Samuel Johnson
He can still go on Whose Line
Dominic Lee
