Fair but only kind of accurate. I grew up in a nearly all white suburb and big high school that was fairly close to what was depicted in the movie. I agree that if you graduated high school after 2005 or so you didn’t get that same experience. I graduated in 2000 so I was right in that sweet spot.

It's not a movie for millenials. It's a movie about gen x set in early millenial high school and it's wildly inaccurate. I graduated in 2001 from a mostly white upper class public high school. I cannot remember hearing one rumor or story about any guy or gal losing their virginity ot having sex, or even a particular story about a particular person doing drugs. which means two things:
