How exactly was he able to hide his powerlevel for so long?

wow that costume design is beyond shit. gets me every time.

Force Concealment

his retarded puffy shoulders restrained his power

Darth Swoldious, am I right

it's meant to impose on his enemies by increasing his frame. he's a politician, they do stuff like this.

he used the dark side to cloud the Senate's minds

>he doesn’t understand mogging

Everyone else in the prequels were conveniently stupid.

to be fair, the Jedi thought the Sith were long dead and they really didn't know what they were dealing with.

Cope.

>The greatest trick the devil ever played was making people think he wasn't there.

>hating on based sheev and his badass outfits
get a load of this faggot

>he doesn't appreciate Naboo couture

>in the prequels
yes in the prequel. not in the OT where the empire 2(two)/II times build a giant super weapon only to leave a weak spot conveniently open to attack. or where the expert marksmen stormtroopers suddenly became terrible shots when aiming at the heroes.

he hid it under his goofy clothes

>In a world full of incels, I am the only Chad.

-Senator Palpatine

His high power level
or if I remember correctly as i was told, Darth Plageius is actually alive in Episode I and II and killed by Palpatine during Episode III on Coruscant in his sleep not so long before he tells Anakin the actual story. If this is true than it was Plageuis hiding everything from the jedi from that point of view.

There's also something about the death star being designed originally to take out an invading multiverse alien planetoid that Plageuis knew about, can anyone confirm?

But Luke had to use the force to fly in and fire a precise shot into an exhaust port of the death star that the Rebels had no business knowing about. And then an expert pilot was required to destroy it a second time. Both times being extremely close to death from death star defenses.

What's his name again?

butt plug

fucking based sheev

I think he kills Plagueis in episode I, right after he wins the Chancellorship. But Plagueis and Palpatine did set into motion a lot of the events that play out in the prequels, including the blockade of Naboo and the Clone Army.

I heard that Maul and Dooku were both unsanctioned apprentices that Palpatine was hiding from Plageius while Plageius was simultaneously clouding the jedi

Palpatine was only supposed to train Maul as an assassin, not as a full Sith. So Plagueis knew about him, but not the full extent. Not sure about Dooku.

do you man yuzahang vong?

Darth Maul was a sith lord though

I know but Plagueis told Palpatine not to train him as a Sith Lord, which he did anyway.

>Filename is Sleev
Missed opportunity user

>Darth Plageius
not canon

>There's also something about the death star being designed originally to take out an invading multiverse alien planetoid that Plageuis knew about, can anyone confirm?
You're telling me he knew about the Yuuzhan Vong? And he designed the Death Star?

>not canon
>talked about in the movie

One of the worst things about the prequels is how fucking obvious it was who was going to become the emperor. There was literally zero tension at all. I mean, it probably would have been obvious no matter what, given how lucas set everything up. But jesus christ. Everyone who had even a glancing knowledge of the OT knew it was palpatine. Even if you didn't know anything about the OT, I think it would be obvious this guy was up to no good.

That's just the nature of a movie series that works backwards.

I don't think that matters. it wasn't supposed to be a mystery. just like the audience knew that Anakin would fall and become Vader. that's the problem with prequels in general. the audience knows what will happen, but the characters themselves don't.

A sith lord??

>it wasn't supposed to be a mystery. just like the audience knew that Anakin would fall and become Vader. that's the problem with prequels in general
If you had no knowledge of the whole story, I don't think most people would pick up as quickly that anakin would turn evil. qui gon certainly hinted at it, but I think it was pretty clear even from episode 1 that sheev was going to take over.

It's a costume for big guys only

he had a few tricks up his sleeve

A cis lord?!

wait nevermind I think even the jedi council talked about anakin in the first film possibly being evil. They literally didn't even hide it at all. WTF? Why not even attempt to create some sort of mystery for a new audience?

>qui gon certainly hinted at it
where

in the phantom menace

throughout the whole film. that's why he didn't want obi wan to train the boy
