cancer

fuck off reddut

Don't you find it an incredible pain in the ass to download it one by one? I use streamio and popcorn time, and most of the time if it's not there I don't bother watching

keep us tuned with your fucking hard drive shit you fuck

>most of the time if it's not there I don't bother watching
Enjoy only watching what (((they))) want you to watch. When you resort to streaming services you give up your freedom of choice. But of course, you don't care. And I don't care that you don't care. Keep consuming, goy.
try to downvote my posts if you think they're so shit, redditard

I get it you are fucking retarded oldfag who is so elite. Im sorry that my "friends" comment made you upset. Loner.

I dunno, not really. This is how I basically always watch movies so I'm used to searching out files.

Stream sites tend to be low quality, give viruses, and they seem to make my computer lag and stutter more. I don't have that problem at all with actual files.

I havent used a stream site in years desu. Might try the ones you listed and see how I get on.

Fuck off you dumb redditcunt, no one wants you here.

Tell us again about your collection on your fucking harddrive. This is actually a reddit thing to talk about shit like that.

Yeah ok, let's talk about how much you want to sniff scarjo's anus instead then

>now only 4-7gb is good enough
>he hasn't ascended to +50gb remuxes
{°~°}

>remux
ew, no you get the BDRip and then you encode it down to your viewing requirements.

I still have a bunch of aXXo rips

Can you give one practical reason why you need 50GB of video, instead of compressing it to like a fifth of that size with zero visible quality loss?

btw i can recommend ffmpeg-normalize to people who are sick of dialogue being so quiet in movies

7-10gb looks fantastic

is there really any need to go higher?

well a remux isn't just a video it's re-assembling a container of multiple possible streams of video/audio.

I can think of a few scenarios where it would be useful to go higher but they're getting rare.

Interesting, I can't throw that into my ffserver pipeline but cool will check it out.

>axxo

jesus christ i forgot about that name

such as?

i hate this but im not sure if its just my speakers or what. my earphones tend to make dialogue more clear than my hifi setup

Low power software decoders will choke on high compression. Many formats are still without hardware decoders so good luck trying to play 10bit h265 on a little media box. It's also a factor if you've got to transcode, such as when you're going to store lossless and stream compressed.

if you're using a receiver it's possible you have to tweak some settings to get even volume levels.

I unironically searched for some of his rips the other day because the only copies I could find of what I was looking for were YIFY. aXXo was it's own seal of approval.

Why would you need so many movies on your hard drive?

actually i only save porn

>movie board
>"gee why do care about movies so much"

I said most of the time, not 100% of the time you sperg. If I absolutely want to watch something then I'll go the extra mile. Most movies are simple entertainment, and I treat it as such. I'm not gonna die if I don't watch it. And if I want some life changing experience I'll read a book.

Those aren't sites per se, they're downloadable programs that stream through torrents. When you choose a movie, there is generally some well known torrenter seeding it. I've never had any problems with viruses.
At first I only used Popcorn time, but then it was taken down. Then a friend suggested I check out streamio, which I did. They even have paid streaming but I don't choose that, obviously. I've only jad problems streaming older movies, specially stuff from 30s-50s.

I like to have a wide variety of movies available on hand to fit whatever mood I'm currently.
Plus I keep my favourites and rewatchable stuff too.

My current film folder on my main hdd has 57 movies @ 260gbs.

(Also porn lol... I have a bunch of porn and can't bring myself to delete most of it)

I've heard about streaming torrents, never used it though. Does that work flawlessly, or what?

setup radarr and have it scan your movie collection, then in your radarr settings set the profile to hd. It will grab hd release for all your shit
