Yes. The first is a legitimately great movie, and the rest are all pretty good for various reasons.

Only seen the first 3. 2 is like a better version of 1. 3 is the most enjoyable overall. 1 is like less of a boxing movie than the others and more about living poor. All 3 are great

Yes, watch IV. Then rewatch it cos it's badass. 2 and 3 are fun. 1 is the best as a drama film but personally I find it boring because I'm more into it for action. 6 is good, 5 is trash. The 2 Creed films are OK but it feels like they're justdoing a poor imitation of the original Rocky films without understanding the heart and emotion of the originals - much like how AI in the future will replicate human actions and behaviour but they won't really "get" what they're doing (fuck nggers).

I'd watch 1+2 back-to-back and then stop. Rocky 3-5 are brainlet-tier Hollywood action movies compared to 1. 6 on the other hand is nice.

Don't listen to this faggot. Watch the first two at the very least. 3 and 4 are fun and indulgent. 5 can be skipped and 6 is worth it if you've enjoyed the series by the time you get to it. Creed is also worth watching if you've enjoyed them. I've not seen Creed 2 yet so i can't comment on it.

1 is kino and so is 4, creed is pretty good also.

Creed 1 & 2 are alright but I think they try too much to live on the success of Rocky and appeal to nostalgia. Creed's son itself doesn't have much to offer and his story isn't interesting. Unlike Rocky, he didn't built his way into fame and fortune.

I enjoyed the first creed but the 2nd one was trash,its like they tried to remake Rocky 4 but without any of the rocky themes

If you can't appreciate Rock IV, you are literally a communist. The soundtrack alone is legendary.

Rocky II isn't really worth your time at this point. Rocky III is kind of fun and I think worth watching.

Rocky V is one of the worst movies ever made and it was so bad that it was retconned in multiple ways.

The first one is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Period.

The next three are good, and they expand the characters in a meaningful way.

Rocky V is pure dogshit.

Rocky Balboa is just as good as the three that followed the first.

It's Stallone describing the painting he did of the character before he even wrote Rocky. Stallone is a really interesting guy and his description of the painting really reveals a lot more going on behind the surface of the original Rocky and I think it makes it an even better film.

The Rocky films are interesting as they kinda form a biography of Stallone's own life. In 1 he's down and out and only has one shot to make it. In the film he loses the fight, in reality the film won best picture that year. In 2 no one believes he can do it again and he doubts himself too, instead he wins and in reality the film was an even bigger success at the box office.

Then comes 3 and Rocky and Stallone are bigshot celebrities fighting Mr T and Hulk Hogan. Then in 4 (which is almost the exact opposite of the original) Stallone's ego is planet-sized and he fucking ends the Cold War at the end (I shit you not it's fucking hilarious.) Then in 5 Stallone just doesn't care and he's kinda washed up, and in the film that's what happens. Balboa he's making his comeback and it's just as good in reality as it is on the screen.

Yet Rocky's a different guy to Stallone. Watch that video, he's articulate. He's actually something of a closet intellectual. Meanwhile, let's face it, Rocky's a dummy, yet he has such a heart of gold that you can't help but love him.

They're such weird movies because so many of them are kinda silly but they oddly tell the story of Stallone's entire life. And the original is just a simply fantastic film too. And 4 is just fucking funny.
