What am I in for?
What am I in for?
Kino
And sneed
Magic
some guy's balls
babbys first twist flick
Nolan's best film. It's really clever and well-edited.
Also this, sneed. Sneedy sneed sneed
a dumbass ending
Sociopathy 101
>lesson one: full commitment
>lesson two: dont tell anyone
>lesson three: anyone who isnt you is expendable
I might be alone on this one but my favorite Nolan film.
The perfect metaphor for the art of filmmaking.
Wolverine vs Batman
Nolan's best film is Insomnia.
fucking hipster
Also, David Bowie is Tesla
one of the most interesting stories about revenge.
that the machine didn't work and all those scifi elements come through via unreliable narrators
It's crazy when you realize the machine didnt actually work
If you pay attention, you wont miss the big trick at the end
anyone who doesn’t recognize this as fact is a brainlet
The bullet trick best trick
It’s in the top five of Nolan’s 10 movies, no matter who you ask.
a guy does a really impressive magic trick involving teleportation and a jealous magician tries to copy him. He goes to a mad scientist that makes a machine for him that instantly clones him and he's drowned in water 100's of times while performing the trick. the end.
I really liked Hugh Jackman playing a drunk guy playing Hugh Jackman
Also I just realized I've been saying "go easy on the poor chap, he does try so very hard" because of this movie
Worst ending
A pretty good movie from a very average director
mind-boggling how absolutely everything in the movie is either a set-up or a pay-off
can't think of any movie that packs so much of that device in there
just so you know, the book isn't even structured in such an interesting way, although it has it a little
When I watched this, I thought it was actually going to be about stage magic. The fact that it was just a weird sci-fi story kinda threw me. I don't think I enjoyed as much as I might otherwise have done.
literally wasn't sci-fi until the very end
Alfred being the Masked Magician
authentic cinema
Literally r*ddit: the movie.
Wait was the duplication machine the "mind blowing twist" everyone talks about? It was the most obvious shit in the world from the moment you see those hats. The only twist that surprised me was the bit about Bale actually being two twins but that was kind of dumb
>jackman both alive and dead in many vats
>machine didnt work
???
>DOOD I KNEW THE GUY LAYING IN THE BATHROOM WAS JIGSAW SO FUCKING GAY I KNEW IT THE FIRST TIME I SEEN IT
his best one is the one with Christian bale insiders is it?
probably Nolan's best movie. Nolan Kino
Fuck off dude, most of the time these movie twists are telegraphed really hard from the beginning. See also: The Usual Suspects
garbage
Christian Bale becomes the physical manifestation of dubs.
Holy shit, never thought of this.
Does Nolan know?
