It's an all-around shitty sitcom with terrible characters (except Marshall) and bullshittly contrived character arc retcons as well as no calibration on conflict. Episodes are filled with big deals about nothing and with zero follow up later on. It's a plastic shit show designed by and for cucks who feel artsy and bohemian in their maudlin faux-comedy set-up. Terrible.

Every good moment in HIMYM is just taken from Friends

It was shit. It was always kind of bad but the framing device and premise could have made for a half-decent limited run, or at least it should have ended when it was intended to. Of course, it was popular, so greed got the better of them and instead of just taking the temperature and expanding into a spin-off or something they just decided to run it into the ground and disappoint fans continuously until the show ends and everyone declares it ruined forever.

Ted is also the worst sitcom protagonist of all time.

I can say without a doubt i will never watch another episode of this show again . Its a shit show

Same could be said of all 20-something coming of middle age sitcoms since Friends ended, to be fair.

It doesn't help that Friends is actually still extremely watchable and anyone who hasn't seen either, you could just tell them to watch Friends instead.

It’s aged terribly in this PC-era, half the episodes would have sjw twitter warriors throw a conniption for being sexist. Along with that tho the characters just sucked.

It's utter shit. Characters are beyond obnoxious, there's literally nothing even remotely likable about any one of them and the finale is the worst ending to a show ever imagined and put to screen. Literally abysmally insulting.

season 9 is physically unwatchable, like it literally hurt me, on a physical level
it's incredible how bad it is, expect for 2 excellent episodes that are weirdly 10/10 (the one with the mom)

also oddly enough some of the best episodes like the Blitz or the PlayBook were not in the first 2 or 4 seasons
