Good movie

saw this scene before the movie, this is actually what convinced me to watch it. Lost my shit when this whole scene was in the movie

I guess. It didn't really do much for me. I think I'm just really tired of people hyping up Marvel movies when they always just turn out "okay".

Mediocre predictable plot with nice, but gimmicky animation**

That low framerate approach kept me from seeing this movie on release. I want to see this movie but I still don't know what they were thinking. It works well with the blur and smear but just looks like bad stop-motion everywhere else.

average movie, but since most movies of this genre are literally dogshit (with "are you mocking", "are you yawning", "dance off bro", "what are thooooose",etc). So people obviously praise it as good.

Its one claim to fame was the animation but now that The Witness BTFO it (and everything else), it's pretty much just an above average Miles story, which means it's still a pretty bad story in general.

I've been avoiding it because it looks like typical capeshit garbage.

I didn't care for it. Miles is boring.

The animation is impressive but story is lacking depth with its "Everyone can be a Spiderman" message. I didn't care for Miles one bit; his motivations for muddled and his character growth isn't handled well. I also dislike characters whose skill go from a noob to expert in a short amount of time which this has. Ben Parker is alright.

You misunderstand, The Witness looks better, end of story. It doesn't need to make money, it doesn't need to win awards, it doesn't need to be popular or even known by any amount of people, it just looks better and with that it cucks Spider-Verse's only redeeming factor. Spider-Verse had a month or two where it was king of animation but that's over now.

What is The Witness? All I can find is trailers for the videogame and some Bible cartoon from years ago.

Just saw it the second time today. It's a lot of fun. Miles is adorable.

The animation felt gimmicky, and the story kept jumping all over the place like it was directed by someone with ADD. Also I felt it pushed too hard the message “A hero that looks like me! I can be Spidey too!”
