I miss these niggas like you wouldn't believe
Genuinely weird characters - like they weren't for kids at all, but they kinda were - I don't know how to describe it. It's like Abbott and Costello I guess, but what kids would have watched them at that point.
I HOYD IT FROM A FRIEND OF A FRIEND OF MINE
It's letter time its letter time
I always wanted to write in to get a free game
I think it was around the time life with Derek ended that I stopped watching those channels
the current kids generation will be the first to be born in an almost completely diffused entertainment market
they will each remember their own niche stuff they watched outside TV
how do you think they'll remember their generation Yea Forums?
I sometimes visit my grandma and try to catch up with what's on TV - and it's fucking miserable. They try to do programming like instead of 10 quality shows, it's 1 or 2 shows run into the fucking ground.
Plus the shows all look the same thing - I remember flipping from YTV to Teletoon, and both had red characters that looked like the same blobby, flat flash based designs - I couldn't believe how bad cartoons have gotten.
*They try to do programming like Netflix, except linear
When I visit my parents for Christmas I do the same, it's bleak. I've found that bbc kids plays a lot of 90s and 00s programming like Degrassi the next generation and stuff that would have been on family. Weird.
Every show looks like fucking Ben 10
Stickin' around was a great show *sips*
HEY YOOOOU GUYS
Always liked how the principal looked in Stickin' Around, he was this tall and pale man with dark bags under his eyes, a real vampire vibe, sometimes you even had episodes where he's flat out implied to be a vampire
Very Bailey School Kids.
I was just thinking about Cybersix randomly a few days ago

YAAAAY MONA *giggle*
>tfw wrote a self insert fan fiction about that show
Glad nobody will ever see it again

>dem black girl's legs
This artist knew what he was doing.
Watching Jacob two-two with some waffles
Beyblade was way after my time. I loved Are You Afraid of the Dark?, though.
I wonder (((who))) came up with this?
>never woke up at 6am to watch the sailor moon r season because the show got shafted on the schedule by that point
one of the coolest intro songs ever
YOU still can watch user. Just grab your cereal and put on some
Classic cartoons or anime. Will really bring back those feelings
You'd have a clear view up her skirt from the villain's table.
>you stayed up really late a couple of nights and saw some weird cartoon called O Canada
I don't think anyone in Canada had CN except satellite pirates.
You had to make do with what got onto YTV or Teletoon.
This might be the perfect opportunity to post this. Around 1998-2001 there was a show that would come on early in the morning that I'd watch before school. It was all puppets, and the premise of the story (I think, I was very young) was this boy was on a quest to save a king who had been kidnapped and his kingdom taken over. I remember the king would appear in a vision to the main character. If any aims have any idea what I'm talking about it would be greatly appreciated, this has been bothering me for 20 years.
Tldr:
>All characters were puppets
>Takes place in medieval times
>The king was kidnapped or killed
>Quest to save the kingdom
Dragonball

Forgot about Sugar doing degenerate ass movies.
Fuck, I remember that one. Not the name. But I remember it being unsettling and having some deaths and stuff which little kid me thought was scary
>Channels 16,52 and I think family was like 50 or 51.

>you now remember the send-off The Zone did for her "moving to Hollywood"
Heh, thanks user. It was a simpler time
Yeah I meant to mention that too. It was surprisingly dark.
I used to wake up and go outside and see fellow white people. That time has passed.
>Beyblade
Even Medabots was better, yikes
Dunno what you mean,m8
I think those were the cable channels for YTV & Teletoon
Had family around the country, those channels were generally the ones YTV/Family were on in the 519 phone area code/SW Ontario

Brockville here.
I think you mean three of the coolest into songs of all time.
Fox box mang, with ultimate muscle and Kirby, switching from pokemon on 24 to pokemon on 27 right after.
This thread reminded me of also waking up at 6 am before school on Friday and watching Sherlock Holmes in the twenty second century. Man good times good times
