He peaked a long time ago and is now in the perpetual decay phase of internet celebritydom. He grew up in a time and place where atheism was looked down upon. This and being a minor social deviant in the communities he grew up in led to him being a kind of rebel. He was a teenager during the Bush years and thus became anti authority. He did a lot of atheism videos because religion was a hot topic back then and when that died down, he had a identity crisis. He is a lefty, but can't really identify with the progressive identitarian block because they are too extreme and he can't really identify with the right because they were his old enemy and don't align with his ideology.

Right now he is just an aging center left neckbeard with little interesting to say and radiating very little energy in his videos. He knows he is past his prime, will probably never be able to work a regular job and just hopes that Berine Sanders will take care of him in case his career ever dies.
