I’ve always wanted a version where they don’t tell you what they’re making, they just show the process and you get to guess what it is as it’s being made.
Watching on mute only kind of accompishes this.
how it's made adult edition when?
I bet you could recut and mute the scenes easily enough then throw them up on youtube.
>It's an obese old women in cleansuits doing QA on the assembly line episode
I'd prefer How It's Made: Experimental Edition.
None of this mass production crap, I want to see them put together nanomachinery or molten salt reactors.
>Determine its gender
>Ask the infant its gender
>The infant identifies its own gender
>The child attends multicultural school taught by only minorities
>The child now identifies as the opposite gender
>The child has now graduated
>The child continues to live at home
>Now the child looks for work that pays a 100K yearly salary
>The child is unqualified
>The child throws a tantrum through social media
>The child has now become an activist
Oh great another Liberal episode.
>watch this show a bunch as a kid
>It's my job now

>Grow up and now work in a big industrial plant

It's kind of amazing manufacturing still occurs in the US, but it must be worse outside this country I guess.
Where do I sign up?
I do appreciate mass production. But I'd want to see dedicated episodes where it's something 1) non-mundane and 2) really touch-and-go.
Just imagine soothing narration over frustrated bench scientists flipping their shit at 10% yields.
Thanks, user. I'll check him out.
I'm a manufacturing engineer
I'm surprised they got as much footage inside factories as they did. Most companies want to keep their processes and techniques secret, even if it seems like something mundane. I would guess that's why you'll never see anything outside of very rudimentary manufacturing, because no company would be dumb enough to show the inner workings of their plant. I would guess all the workers they show in the floor are either managers or leads too, since they have to show the guys following all safety protocols and shit that the average worker totally ignores.
A series set in China would be fun, although it would probably be much more dangerous and hectic.
I'd watch the shit out of How It's Made: Chinese Knockoffs.
>It's a recap episode where Cheng Wang spends 30 minutes on the phone trying to convince a buyer of steel that Chinese millimeters are different than international millimeters and the buyer has to pay the import tariffs even though Cheng said they would be waived
PURE KINO
tbph i don't really care about how things are made
you don't have to care, it's just pleasant to watch

>It's a britbong narator episode
i like the food and alcohol production episodes, max comfy. must have watched the tequila one abt a hundred times

Yeah and I’m a machinist, big fuckin deal when you’re not even the one who has to make the parts.
I'd want the audio there, especially if they got rid of the stock machining sounds. Maybe a light classical selection in the background for ambiance. Ala AVE's machining vids
Hey fuck you anusmouth. I put more work into taking a shit than you do at your job.
>hmmm I’ll just put this specified tolerance of +-0.000001 on this ID
>ahh well that was a hard days work, cant wait to see how this turns out, better send this print out to the shop
>what do you mean that’s not possible?! Ughh you guys are so lazy and now I have to go and make a new rev
Suck my dick
Based fellow machinist telling no-sense engineers to fuck off
Would work well for relaxing music videos
this would be kind of interesting, good idea user

I think those are called REKT threads on the adult GIF board
Running one of these is my jobs and it should be on How it's made (from reel to finished letter).
