You only hate it because it had black people in it. Getting sick and tired of you racists.

Incel

Please have sex

>He's a Reddit the movie poster

Yikes, no thx

I’m black and it sucked

She was a dop the whole time.......woaaaaaaaah...wait what why wasn't she evil then? Someone explain I'm seeing it tomorrow and I don't care if I'm spoiled.

The ending really does undermine the movie's themes though. It's Shamalan-tier stupid. Oh well. I really wanted to fuck the white couple's daughters.

Uncle Tom

I can't be the only one who guessed the twist in ghe opening scene? At one point I thought it wasn't gonna happen since it seemed so obvious.

What about the opening scene made that obvious if I may ask?

Once I saw it was a flashback I knew what was going to happen and I still walked out mad

your post the reddit of Yea Forums
>no thought
>bating meme argument
>lazy

unironically spoil the movie for me

She's not evil because Lupita's doppleganger had been "her" ever since she unwillingly swapped places with her since they were children meeting in a house of mirrors. I guess she learned how to be human or whatever.

White people are terrible and should all die because they opress blacks was the message. Massive waste.

Real question anons:
i know that this is stupid but....is it the usual race baiting movie?

lower class rises up to fight the upper class

No, more of an inner-demon kind of movie.

Yep.

We never saw her run away from the doppelganger, maybe it's a look at it as a storytellibg choice where every choice matters. So they didn't show something, obly told it, while we saw everything else in the glashback. Therefore she's probably lying or we don't have all the info.

>Wife was the doppelganger the whole time, but still:

>pretended to be afraid of the other girl in front of her husband
>acted all surprised when the doppels showed up and she kept asking who they were and what they wanted
>the real wife kept explaining shit as if the doppel didn’t already know all of it
>smiled at her son as if taunting him that she’s the fake (even though she would have no reason to do so, since she was already an above ground person)

Meh movie, all these plot holes ruined it

>look at me everybody I'm racist
wow

Attack of the clone mole people

Even if you dislike the """twist""" it didn't make the rest of the movie make no sense

Should have been called WE

It’s not even a racial movie lol

youtube.com/watch?v=ykWPyaqbebo

sort of

It's at least more ambitious with an interesting concept than most big horror movies. I still don't understand the scissors and the red jumpsuits or the hands across America shit really. It's not amazing but i thought it was better than get out. Was expecting more of an obvious race theme but i keep reading people saying it's all about slavery. It's worth a watch. Im an idiot tho

>but i keep reading people saying it's all about slavery
Its not

yes it does

In what way?

Very intelligent. Truly the master race

D-does that mean we can essentially make all doppelgangers good? Like we could rehabilitate them? Well that's not very scary...

You got what you wanted for your article, now go write it up faggot

engage in sexual intercourse

Yeah only retards wouldn't be able to spot obvious foreshadowing. So, 90% of the audience won't. Good catch.

wow not only racist but also a little dash of homophobia. You'll go far in life.

Because it raises to many questions that the movie can't answer, what's worse is that the movie does a horrible job at explaining the rules. So there is a massive underground complex full of clones in all of the USA? Who runs these complexes? Why did they abandon them? Why are they so close to human cities? Why isn't that shit under tight security? Is there a supernatural connection or not?

The end scene was symbolic

>everyone that disagrees with my autism is a media jew

What's next on the dialogue tree?

/pol/ needs to fuck off to their own website already. Dragging down Yea Forums more everyday. "Hey everyone, I'm a bigoted racist! Look at me! Fuck everyone but my friends! We'll rise again!" That's nice sweetie. Stop shitting up the site. Go suck each other off @ pol.we'llneveraccomplishagoddamnthing.com already

>/pol/ needs to fuck off to their own website already.

If only. All of asian Moots problems with advertisement would be gone in an instant aswell with all the election tourists gone in one instant.

You can’t make shit like this up

i'd like to stab jordan peele in the throat with those scissors desu

it bring into question red's motive, it would be one thing to want to kill her own clone and get her life back but to have the clones kill everyone is an odd way to go about bringing attention to them when just doing the hands across america thing would work just fine.

you also have to wonder how she was freed because it didn't look like the clones were capable of freeing her from the handcuffs, and when she did finally get free why didn't she just leave?

No it isn't you dipshit. How about watch the movie and form an actual opinion instead of regurgitating whatever bullshit you read on here.

Stop telling people they are nazis/incells cuz they don’t like a movie, show, whatever and they’ll go away. The door swings both ways. Just look at this thread. This movie had a shittier twist and the dudes explaining why it sucked are instantly called “racist”.

>has to play the part, can't just be like "oh i'm one of these dopplegangers and those are more versions of us blah blah" it would be retarded if she admitted to that then
>same as the first point, has to play the part to keep her family from guessing the truth
>an actual plot hole, this one is kind of stupid but maybe it was for the sake of the performance or maybe the real wife actually thought she was a tether at this point
>she smiled at him because he figured it out, he knew when she saved him in the tunnel that something was off that's why she asked him if he was alright and he replied "no"

Not even a horror film though. Suspense thriller, maybe.

Of what, retard. I like how you don't even explain how. Just spout your claim.

The thing I'm going to remember most from this movie is the soundtrack, did they use Bulgarian folk music singers for the main track of the movie?

You are correct, but dude... I mean really?

I was literally just feeding into their stupid bullshit because that's what they want. Got a 15 minute ban for it, they get nothing. Welcome to reddit.

Do you not understand the irony of shitposting, expecting a certain response? I know you're all on your discord planning this out trying to turn this into moderation central, but it's just pathetic. That's the exact response you want, you got it, and you had your janny ban me for it.

I explained in a previous thread:

To expound:
Jordan Peele explains that a core message of this movie is "we are our own worst enemies." He also acknowledges that "we" and, by extension, "us" is nebulous and can mean different things to different groups, it can be a personal thing but also apply to America as a whole, for example.
To get back on track, Tethers in general took on the unpleasant parts of everyone that they try to keep under the surface. This can be seen with how Gabe's Tether was brutish and violent and Tim Heidecker's Tether was basically his asshole traits. Going with that, Adelaide's tether embodied her prior traumas.

To get on the ending sequence, when looked at symbolically, Adelaide let her past trauma win, essentially.

To shitpost racial epithets in this day and age is to perpetuate racism, done ironically or not. Curse at someone, call them names, fine. Racism is being expunged online, even on Yea Forums, because we can't have nice things anymore.

>This can be seen with how Gabe's Tether was brutish and violent
But everyone's tether was violent, maybe but brutish but certainly violent

Everyone has inner darkness

This is why normal people fucking hate you. You're braindead. Ban me again, tranny.

>tether's only eat rabbits
Then they should all die from rabbit starvation

What do scissors do? Divide one thing into halves. Look at the kind of scissors they use? Not the safety kind but the kind that are completet parallel to eachother. Mirror image.

Think of the Tetherworld as Yea Forums

Rent free

That makes even less sense because Tetherworld isen't even close to the level of autism seen on Yea Forums

"I got five on it"was way overplayed in this movie. By the third time I was tired of it.

This movie was a mess. The opening was extremely uncomfortable in a good way, and the credits with the slow pan out from the rabbit cages was excellent. There were a lot of nice shots and use of reflection (like when the clone Lupita is confessing to her husband about seeing her double). Then the clones toy with everyone for far too long. All of them with the exception of Lupita were animalistic and mad and yet they toy around like slasher movie villains instead of crazed incomplete humans/animals desperate and angry. The clone facilities make no sense, and the fact that the third act grinds to a halt to justify them brings even more glaring attention to the problems. The pacing was utterly fucked; I was expecting a slow burn from the opening, with coincidence and eerieness piling up, when the clones show up and it turns into a home invasion movie that feels entirely inert because of the big sitdown disguised as an exposition dump. Theres a glimmer of a good movie in there; the Jeremiah 11:11 guy and Lupita's religious revelation could have taken the movie in a very ballsy supernatural direction, where the clones really are empowered by God to rise up and punish the humans for attempting to create and then turning tail when it goes south, with Lupita as a Jeremiah-like figure. But instead it's this muddled mess - themes (are we supposed to sympathize with the clones? I'm guessing not, since they're all incoherent and animalistic, but why waste the time on the tale about the shadow and the uprising being planned), plot, pacing all scattered to the winds. And the comedy - the comedy was too inconsistent and inopportune to work in a way like Gremlins, and the movie clearly wants us to take it seriously in a way black comedies aren't supposed to be taken. Also the score was ridiculous. The cues of when music stopped and started, the overuse especially of the choral theme, crossed the line straight into parody.
tl;dr what the fuck was going on

its really good you should watch it government funded secret clones of the entire population live in underground tunnel societies, they were made to control the originals through some magic mental connection or something, the project was abandoned in the 80's but they just kept on living, then they make a plan to rise up and kill their doppelgangers to send a message of the horrors they had to endure

>Also the score was ridiculous. The cues of when music stopped and started, the overuse especially of the choral theme, crossed the line straight into parody.
Hey fuck you the soundtrack was the best thing in the movie

ITT: cumskins

I read a plot synopsis and as soon as I saw her meeting her doppelganger in a fun house I thought that the doppelganger was the one that actually came out.

I’m not racist but this movie sucked

>I’m not racist
Yes you are. Everyone is racist to a certain extent, it’s human nature.

>that Michael Jackson Thriller shirt

Unfortunate timing

Based and redpilled. Fuck niggers

Beyond awful.

We could have but they’ve been locked away for so long, you saw how pissed off they all were

It's a horror movie so it's allowed

>everyone is racist to a certain extent
I’ll agree that everyone has a prejudice and most likely feel more comfortable around people of their own race but I disagree that everyone is racist to an extent
