I do that too. A side effect has been that it's almost unbearable to watch a movie at normal speed.

I only watch kino on my phone while riding the bus therefore I have more time to stare at a wall bored at home

I used to watch Keeping up appearances by fast forwarding Onslow and his wife. That way all I got was Hyacinth and her misadventures with the added bonus of Onslow and Daisy showing up unannounced.

I watch flicks at 3x speed and films at 1.5x speed.
Kino I usually watch frame by frame and takes notes (kinotes, as I call them). For cinematographia I draw the curtains, set the TV to mute and turn off the display and enjoy it at 0.1x to truly immerse myself into it
