Keeping Mexicans out is just border policy. Every country does it. It isn't nationalism. Nationalism is the idea that you must have allegiance to your country. The book that truly begs for a movie adaptation is we the living. And everyone knows it. There was a scene in 30 rock where Tina almost gets her way and it cuts to her mind and she literally acts out the final scene in the book. And it is kino as fuck if you realize what the scene means.

It is by far her worst book. It has almost no exposition. It was essentially a college writing project for her. It is the best of the 4 books that the project produced, bnw is the second best. But that doesn't change the fact they are all 150 page propaganda pieces for children.

Her best book is fountainhead. It's an epic about struggle against all that keeps down a great man.
