I didn't think a single one of these were outright bad, either. Alternate Histories becomes a bit too over the top by the end and Suits feels like a commercial for Clash of Clans. The Witness and Zima Blue are masterpieces.

Secret Army it was boring and poorly animated and you know this is true.

Fuck me this series is bad and uneven. Is most Netflix content like this?

>Awful Taste: The Post

>At least try to write the correct title of the episode before you shitpost
Nah. It was by far the worst, and the fact that it was the last episode made it even more of a suck.

t. genre pleb

someone explain the one with the glowing fishes please

I'm glad to see most people thought the freezer and alt histories episodes were the worst.

Don't get why people didn't like good hunting. Was pretty sad and touching.

Really don't get the hate for sucker of souls. It kind of felt like an episode of the real adventures of johnny quest. There wasn't a whole lot to it, but what little there was was pretty solid.

got to agree, sucker of souls was one of the best ones imo
simple, effective, no-nonsense, no stupid twist that the entire episode is built around
people shit on good hunting because it's such an obvious critique on colonialism and evil men and their proggressiveness which is actually just built around their fetishes
a real shame since the whole set up with the boys father killing the ghostfoxs mother would have been a great starting point for a fox and the hound style story

please respond

Can't dig some werewolf violence without it being furry, huh?

bro learn the difference between a v and a mark.

This.

So space spider waifu was just one huge slut fucking literally anyone who got lost in her home?

they're all so different it's hard to order them

alternative history was the only episode I outright disliked.

really? Everyone liked yogurt that much? It was pretty stupid.

I wish there was more stuff like the Secret War

I like the idea of WW2 occult SCP stuff being contained by armies without using science or technology just guns and planning

What didn't you like about it?

What technique did they use for The Witness? I mean the animations just looked way too real. Was that really cgi?

it was just nice to have a weird ministory just to make you smirk without it being all grimdark neon cyberpunk npc propaganda

Will I like this if I loved the animatrix?

all episodes written by philip gellatt have a hard cap on how good it is. zima blue and aquila rift are total plebbait

Like most animated anthologies (Animatrix, Halo Legends, etc.), there will be some shorts that are excellent, and others that are sub-par. Here are my thoughts after a first impression.

Top 3:
>Zima Blue- Awesome style, and awesome adaption of a short story. Also the most emotional for me, but thats because it reminded me of Don Hertzfeldt's stuff.
>Suits- I like the "farmers with mechs on a hostile alien world" aesthetic, basically the Starcraft cartoon we never got.
>Beyond the Aquila Rift.- Another great adaption of a Alastair Reynolds story. CGI is uncanny valley as hell though.

Great:
>Secret War-A little too similar to Suits for me, but I know that could change based on the episode order you receive. Otherwise, a good action short.
>Lucky 13- Well done war story, but had fairly bland environments for my tastes.
>Sonnie's Edge- The preachiness of the writing could have been toned down if the short story was followed better, but other than that the aesthetic was done really well. That-and cyberpunk is generally pretty liberal in the first place.

Good:
>Three Robots
>Yogurt
>Shapeshifters
>Blindspot

Okay:
>Ice Age
>Fish Night
>The Witness

Poor:
>Alternate Histories
>Good Hunting
>Sucker of Souls
>The Dump

It was animatrix with yogurt. Its just silly.

Were the other 2 crew members in their own little dreams? How did that work?

pretty sure they were dead
you could see their corpses when thom woke up from the simulation

More like worst to worst.

>Alastair Reynolds

is he worth a read?

hahaha

I thought it was supposed to be a metaphor for the way the internet is changing society. Social media is perceived as this new horizon but there are still the same old sharks there.

are there any hot girls in any of the epsiodes?

ive seen the witness already
