In the very least, it will look visually amazing, although i hope the sense of scale and weight is closer to the original film than what the trailers have shown.

Mothra looks fine. If you're just going by the SH figure, she looks vaguely like that in the movie. It's more like Rebirth of Mother's design than the fluffy design of the original, and that's fine.

The human characters and writing should be fine, not great nor terrible. Considering most Godzilla movies have poor to average human drama, it's nothing new if it's just average like 2014.

Talk about your leaked scripts all you want, but there isn't shit that proves any of that beyond fan fiction and speculation. Doesn't matter if some stuff might be true, you can guess hard enough and long enough to predict the end of Avengers Endgame too, even without watching a single trailer.
And the weight and scale seem to be fine. Low angled shots for the walking monsters, high angled and wide-angled shots for the fliers to show their mass but also incredible speed for the size. But sure, keep predicting this movie based on a few shitty speculations and a perfectly acceptable set of trailers.

Alright, but you haven't really defined what you mean by "grounded." Do you mean realistic? Because, again, the setting itself isn't realistic at all, these things shouldn't be able to physically exist and yet they do. If, by grounded, you mean serious, they are definitely taking this in a serious approach, both in 2014 and this one. There's a spectrum of "grounded" and "fantastical" that you're ignoring, shown in something like Star Wars vs 2001 A Space Odyssey. Even within Star Wars, or Godzilla, it can be grounded so long as it creates and follows its own set of rules, which nothing has been shown to be otherwise thus far. It's more grounded than most other G movies, while still allowing these science fiction and fantasy elements to exist as necessary for the genre. Like I said, you haven't defined what you've meant either way.

Kek on Destroyah, though. Proof? A non-shopped, genuine picture from something with at least some credibility? As a reminder, this was a "leaked" design for Ghidorah. Is it still valid? Was it legitimate? No. Hell, even if he is in the movie, which I'm going to guess he's not, it's likely nothing to do with any of the "leaks" we've gotten. You can pretty easily guess when you have a limited selection of characters or monsters to choose from to guess who's in. I can guess Hedorah is going to be in the next movie because of the Great Smog of London, doesn't matter, it's still guessing based on flimsy information.
