Did you die in Independence Day?

Died in wave 2

What was the blast radius for each hit? I'm fine but everything around me is fucked.

in the novelization it says the blasts are approximately 5 megatons but lack radiation so clean resources can be gathered later

No. I served.

Yep

This would unironically be one of the greatest, most beneficial things to happen to the earth. A lot of evil stems from these places.

Probably. I’m 200km from one of those places.

I DIE IN FUCKIN EVERYTHING

Attached: nyc.jpg (2715x1810, 2.06M)

there'd be massive global famine, infrastructure collapse, and general anarchy from all that shit being destroyed

Made it to the intercepted wave
Fuck yeeeeee

>Houstonfag
>probably the only movie we get some sort of recognition from aside from Paris, Texas
>we get blasted by ayys
>then raped by nukes
>which didn't work
>only scene is downtown in absolute ruins with ship over it

Attached: L9MlEPw.jpg (807x659, 37K)

In the novelization the "intercepted" wave are actually all destroyed as well, cuz the alien ships crashed on top of them

these areas consume food. Not produce.
Farmlands left intact.

>singapore

Being a city state has its benefits but this isn't one of those times

Yep farmers are completely self sustaining and not dependent on anything outside of their immediate area

What was their problem anyway?

This.

Fuck fiction.

We'd need entirely new advertising agencies and accounting firms. It would be chaos for centuries!

45 minutes out from St. Louis I live for sure

>he thinks he can grow modern crop yields
>with medieval logistics and tools
>with modern knowledge

Oklahoma lives
Texasfags get fucked
inb4 "and sucked" you faggot reddit tier sneedposters

>he thinks that there aren't hundreds more cities that produce modern amenities and the world would return to some medieval state were NYC to be wiped from existence
Woah... That's mighty retarded, kiddo.

3rd wave

who are you quoting?

> working yourself into a sneeding shoot

All roads lead to Rome friend. You'll realize your folly some day... or perhaps not... you seem rather dim witted.

>tfw Swiss
We have big cities too, you know.

>All roads lead to Rome
False. Many roads don't lead to Rome. Guess this is just another in the long list of things you've been wrong about.

Could it be a height issue with the mountains? They're to close to the explosion?

You still live in Oklahoma. You’d be better off one of the first wave cities because you avoid the crushing bleakness of living that shithole

Seriously when did NY become the place to bomb? Surely not just because of 9/11?

That's what you get for living in a polluted shithole.

Most of our big cities aren't located near very big mountains.
It's just not fair, are we really this insignificant?

looks so beautiful to live there

aliens were pretty dumb for not attacking Omaha. where stratcom in located.

>Toronto, Canada
Wave 1
What's this.

>and that's a good thing! And here's why!

Pretty much

>live in LA
>see downtown as a cheap backdrop for literally everything all the time

Houston has a pretty underrated skyline imo

Nope. Thankfully, aliens don't care about Poland all that much and I live too far from Warsaw for the invasion to have any impact. And Warsaw is a shithole that's historically used to being blown up to hell and back.

>Japan and third Worlds countries
Yikes

That’s awfully naive, a huge amount of industrial manufacturing and freight shipping hubs/ports are huddled around those major cities. Farmers wouldn’t be able to get enough fuel or machined parts to sustain their equipment. The decimated power grid would be unable to power irrigation pumps. aqueducts and other critical infrastructure would be severely damaged

Honestly. Something about driving past downtown on I-10 or 59 in the early hours of the day or at dusk always brings a comfy feeling. Been seeing it my whole life and it still feels pretty good. Paris, Texas really did it justice with that 1984 skyline. Pic related.

Too irrelevant to get nuked by ayyliums, nice.

>Denver
nuked in wave 2, but I dabbed as the fire engulfed my body so jokes on them
#YODO

BoA Center is a real gem of postmodernism and any city would be lucky to have it in its skyline, definitely up there as one of the more majestic postmodern highrises. Its placement is very prominent in the skyline too. Most postmodern hightises are just dull glass boxes but the Gothic vibe you get from this one is great, great use of verticality as well.

Perth and sydney wiped off the face of the map.
Nothing was lost.

>Failed to nuke Barcelona.
Fucking great job, aliens.

>St. Louis
I'm just happy to be included

Surprised nothing from my state is on there.

Attached: ND.png (959x771, 194K)

Yep, first wave

>mfw the aliens forgot to bomb the 101st airborne.
They would regret this immediately.

It depends
How far the blast radius go?
I live near Sao Paulo. 70Km more exactly

literally a meme city, I'm not going to pay out of my ass to live in a shitty roach infested aparment just to be surrounded by the most obnoxious cunts on earth in a garbage dump of a city

Yes.

Not from aliens, but because New Orleans is niggers all the way down.

not farmlands exclusively but if all rural areas and small towns are left intact, then civilization would enter a new golden age unironically

>Jerusalem
>Tel Aviv
>Northern Ireland
Hol up nobody told me the aliens were BASED

>mecca in the intercepted wave

damn, so close

Nope I lived. But sadly now I have to pay for migrants to fuck my daughter.

>ship crashes and pancakes mecca
nuthin personal kid

Cope kafir

>Surely not just because of 9/11?
that's right a movie that came out in 1996 was influenced by an event in 2001

>Paris get fucked
>Lyon gets fucked
>Marseilles gets fucked

And nothing of value was lost.

My city will become the new capital, and everyone can live without having to deal with mudslimes.

Attached: Place_de_la_Bourse,_Bordeaux,_France.jpg (1200x800, 285K)

>>he thinks he can grow modern crop yields

Modern crop yields are only needed for profit and to feed those very cities that were wiped out.

I drove through it a few years back near early sunset and no kidding it is a sight to see.

probably full of rats and cockroaches.

>all these city slickers pulling up
Nothing of value was lost

This x1000. Fuck megalopoli, they're a cancer upon mankind and Earth itself.

>tfw your country is so shitty and obscure it never gets mentioned in things like this
Feels kind of good I guess man

>massive global famine
>from millions of consumers being killed
