Like a tiny flaw during manufacturing of this disc caused it to explode from a stress fracture years and years later, not only rendering the engine dysfunctional but also shredding all three separate hydraulic systems, leaving the plane without steering past throttle adjustments.

A good femanon friend of mine who has absolutely no interest in history channel/ disaster show stuff has to do spot checking as part of her job duties. One of the shows is Air Disasters, so she has to force herself to meticulously pay attention to basically every single episode in a season in a pretty short amount of time to make sure there are no black frames or missing subtitles. This thread would probably give her nightmare fuel.
